On December 23, 2021 I sent $3,175 to Henry I*****, the owner of Supafast Valet, to purchase a vehicle. Months went by and Henry hadn't fulfilled his end of the deal. When I called and asked for my money back he refused and said "It's not my fault that you didn't get a car." I been proceeded to try and resolve the issue with my bank but they could not help me. I'm just looking to get my money back. I gave him money for a car and as of today Monday, June 6, 2022 I still don't have neither my money back or a car.

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/06/09) */ Mr ******* picked a car himself a 2012 Nissan Altima from iaai *** number ***************** I I'm just the person who helped him purchase the vehicle he chose himself. Before he bought the car he knew it was as is meaning once u click buy you have to pay whether or not if you like the car when you see it in person. After he paid for the car he went to the location and found out the car was not working right. I advised him to take it to a mechanic shop to fix because he knows he can't return it back he can only resell it. So he chose to resell it. Which I also let him know there will be a reselling fee and storage fee because he did not want to fix it and I paid the fees and he advised me to take my storage money of 275 back from the sale of the car when it sells. The car sat at the auction for over a month and when it ran the buyers highest bid was 800 I asked him should I sell it verbally over the phone while I was on the phone with the agent to confirm if I should sell it or not he said yes and I should look for another car but I advised him another car the price they will pay will not be good he then said he wants the whole of the payment he paid to the auction for a car he chose him self. Here supported are screenshot from our conversation of asking him to take it home and also for the storage money he told me to take when the car sells. Till today I have yet to cash the check of 691$ because he wants me to pay for what I I'm not responsible for. Business Response /* (1000, 7, 2022/06/09) */ ***Document Attached*** This is a receipt and check for the car and his money was 416 minus what is owed he refused to accept that has the balance and still say I owe him 3100 Consumer Response /* (3000, 9, 2022/06/11) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) Our original agreement was on a blue Acura TL but for whatever reason that deal did not fall through. Henry then suggested a Nissan Altima because of the high resell value. I asked ***** if the car had any issues and he told me "no." We proceeded to make the deal happen where I paid $3,175 directly to Henry's business (Supafast Valet) and on arrival of the car, it was not working how he said it would. He told me he would have central dispatch tow it to the mechanic shop and that he would call the auction the next day to figure out what was wrong with the car. I proceeded to give him the location of the car and the mechanic shop I wanted it towed to. Henry was unable to get the car towed then told me I could resell the car. I chose to resell the car in hopes to get at least what I paid for it back and at the same time Henry offered to find a replacement car. He then tried to make me pay $271 for storage fees and I told him to take the money out when the car sells. Henry then sold the car for $691 and I expressed my displeasure with him as to why he would sell a car I paid $3,175 for only $691. He then tried to still take the storage fee and give me back $420. I told him I would not accept that, then he told me that he can still find me a car. After months of absolutely nothing I told him that I did not want the car anymore, just a refund. He refused to refund me then promised he will find me a car 2 weeks after that (March 18, 2022.) As of today Saturday, June 11, 2022 I still have neither my money back or a car. Business Response /* (4000, 11, 2022/06/13) */ I I'm a business man this man asked me what I paid for this cars and I told him the truth because I wanted to be honest to this man showed him how much I paid for my cars and let him know I don't know what are wrong with them because I buy the car (AS IS) which I informed him again I don't know what their issues are and he them proceeded to agreeing to checking out cars him self on the app and sent him the Nissan and he picked it I cannot buy a car a customer did not agree to and on the post from the auction they indicate the car was run and drive and when they picked up the car it says run and drive because I told him to check and read their policy's this are not my laws this are the auction rules and regulations attached. And I quoted the car prices are high and even if I was to find a good car for that price it will still take long. And I refused the refund of what was paid to the auction. I will be requesting a replacement check from iaai and will issue you the payment of $420 once's it's received I or my company are not liable for iaai rules and regulations. They stated the reason why cars can only be bided online and their rules is their rules. Please be advised no other information is available at this time Due to this information, I will not be providing any form of refund for this vehicle. If you have any other questions you can always call our Customer Support Department at XXXXXXXXXX Thank you, Consumer Response /* (4200, 13, 2022/06/14) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) Henry fails to understand that I bought a car from his business and not IAAI. If a person buys a pair of Jordan's from FootLocker but later learns that the sneakers are defected, that person will go to FootLocker looking for compensation. FootLocker is not going to tell the person that it is Michael Jordan's or the manufacture's fault that the sneaker is defected. They will take accountability because they are the ones who sold the product. If the purpose of your business is to buy and sell cars but you don't have any in inventory then that needs to be know to the consumer. If the car is 'As-Is' then the consumer needs to know that as well. Henry assured me that nothing was wrong with the car (previous screenshots will verify that) and that was a lie. Henry assured me that he can still find mer a car (previous screenshots will verify that) and that was a lie as well. I did tell Henry that I wanted to resell the car and as a business man, if the car is biding for significantly less than what was paid for it, you don't sell it. Using logic, Henry should have denied the bid, held on the car, and informed me about the situation. Why would I agree to selling a car I paid $3,175 for only $691? That does not make sense. Henry does not even have the decency to reward me the whole $691, he knows I took a huge lost and still tries to swindle me out of more money. I could have figured out what was wrong with the car then moved accordingly. At least, I would have had a car but instead I am still without a car or any type of compensation. That is horrible business and I want a full refund of $3,175.
