I have been going to this shop for over 10 years with the same vehicle. Most problems were minor and I knew what was needed. I provided the parts and they did the labor. In July 2022 I went in because of a clunking noise in the front end. They told me it was the front control arms. I bought the parts for $220 they did the labor for $507. When I went in to pick up the car I asked to test drive it. I was told I had to pay first. I then asked is the clunking noise gone. I was told yes. After driving away from the shop I knew immediately that it wasn't fixed. I looked under the car and saw the new parts in place. I went back to the shop and found the manager waiting there for me. He was no where in site when I paid earlier. After voicing my displeasure he agreed to replace the shocks for free telling me that was the source of the noise. After replacing the shocks, which had a lifetime garentee, I was asked to pay for the repair. I refused, grabbed my key, and left. The noise was still there. Exactly the same as it was when I first brought it in. I wrote some on-line reviews that the manager saw and was asked to bring my Jeep back so that they could find the problem. After 2 days I was told it was a $12 part that took 15 minutes to replace. I demanded my money back and threaten a lawsuit. I was given $340 back from the $900 I had spent. These people are liars and theives. They were not able to take advantage of me only because of my knowledge of auto mechanics. I'm sure they are taking advantage of many people on a daily basis.Initial Complaint

On 5/4/22 Sonny's ran my 2 debit cards 6 times in less than 5 mins which resulted as an overcharge of $2252.51. The manager of the shop said their credit card machine only showed communication error, but since funds were available, my accounts were debited and left in a pending state. Only one of the debit charges were authorized and a receipt signed. I notified the manager, Ormondo, of the problem on 5/4/22 and again multiple times a day until Friday 5/8/22. I could not file fraud charges with the banks because the debits were still pending, even though the funds were taken out of my account. I gave the manager both card printouts that clearly showing where unauthorized charges were pending. He kept telling me it was my bank's fault. It was 2 different banks and Sonny's manager refused to let me talk to someone else who might could help or call someone who could resolve this problem The charge was supposed to be for 597.15, but a total of $2748.57 was debited from my accounts, which wiped me out. My rent check bounced, our cell phones were turned off, our lawn survive was canceled, ect. All of these also came with fees to reinstate service as well as bank NSF fees. Sonny's still has not acknowledged they caused this problem, apologized for it, offer to help fix it, offer any resolution or reimbursement of fees.
