The Reme Halo unit we purchaced was very hard to replace the bulb. The plumbing company that installed it had a hard time removing the bulb last time this time when I tried replacing it the plastic houseing with three little contact points holding it broke off trying to get it out. I would not recommend this product.

Although customer complaints probably exceed plaudits for companies, I have a positive story to tell about my experience with RGF. I purchased the RGF Plug-in-Plus 14 years ago to provide improved air quality in my basement. And for years it worked just great. When the UV light went out, I figured the UV cell just needed replacing but replacing it didn't change the situation. So I mailed the unit back to RGF in the hope that it could be repaired. There was no warranty issue to speak about. They tried to repair it but it was too far gone. So I told Daniela A****, their customer service rep, that I would just purchase their updated model but thanked RGF anyway for trying to fix it. That day, I received an email from Daniela that RGF had decided to just send me their current generation replacement unit free of charge. And these units cost over $300 retail. What is there to say about such kind, generous and unexpected generosity except to say that this is one amazing outfit staffed by caring and conscientious personnel like Daniela. And their home air improvement units are great as well. In addition to the plug in unit I now have once again for my basement, I have the RGF unit inside my duct to purify the air throughout the house. Let there be no doubt: this is a rave review about the company and its people.
