I purchased Designer's Choice kitchen cabinets and an island in August 2021 for my kitchen renovation that was started in January 2022, and my cabinets were delivered the 2nd week of January. Every single cabinet came damaged, there were issues with both the finish and construction of the cabinets. The kitchen place I'm working with came and took pictures and filed a claim for replacement of the entire kitchen with the exception of 1 cabinet from the island. The second set of cabinets came last week and were delivered with the same issues. The packaging was awful, the boxes were extremely thin, most items did not corner protectors, and/or did not have anything protecting the cabinet other than the box. The 36" panty came in a thin box with no protection and the box was falling apart upon arrival. 90% of the cabinets came damaged again with issues with the finish and construction. The plywood used is extremely cheap, thin, and is falling apart. I have been without a kitchen since January and I have a 3 year old, this whole experience has been extremely challenging and stressful. I have been told I just have to continue to go through this process each time and wait for replacements of the damaged items. I cannot get the countertops placed until I have the cabinets installed, which means I either continue to live without a kitchen or just settle for these horrible cabinets that I paid $11,500 for. At this point I just want to move forward with my renovation, I am so beyond stressed with living in a house where every room of full of dust, boxes and tools b/c of this renovation. My poor son cannot play or go anywhere in the house b/c of everything am requesting that Designers Choice at least pay for the cabinets to be repainted by a painter of my choice who uses the same process of conversion varnish that I paid for so I don't have to continue to wait 6 weeks for replacements.Business response
