Roof installed in June or July 2023. Ceiling damage from rain. Its Mar 2024 now and still no fix. There is always some kind of pandering line as to why the *************** cant come and fix it. Episodes of no call and no shows. My manager called you and cancelled and its been rescheduled . No evidence of any call. So Im thinking, so you just scheduled an appointment with no one? Kind of have to have a confirmation of a set schedule, no? Maybe my dog took the call. The finance folks can get in touch with us, I know theyre good at that. Now that Im filing a complaint, I see the company is consistently doing poorly.

Stay away from this company. They do not honor their warranty: Our roof was replaced by Citrus Contracting in December 2022 with a 2 years workmanship warranty. On December 4th 2023, I called them to check and repair the leaks we had. Brand new roof mind you! Someone came to evaluate the damages. He found a rotten plywood (on a new roof!), no splashing in some areas. I was told that the repairs would be done within 2 weeks... 7 weeks later, I am still waiting for the repairs. Trying to call them is a joke. When they answer and you are lucky if they do, they will try to connect you to the "***************". No one answers the phone. I left messages to have them call me back. I have not received a call back from them in 7 weeks.There are so many good and honest roofing companies in the area... Stay away from Citrus contracting.

The stucco and paint job performed by your team is below the standards that I believe you set for your business. We are very unhappy and still havent received any feedback regarding what will be done to mitigate this problem. The stucco appears, as if there was no attempt to try to blend it in with the current stucco Im aware that it will not be perfect but the previous stucco repair was far better than this one so we know it can be done. The stucco was also painted while it was wet and I am sure you know stucco is very porous and needs drying time. This is construction 101 so right there your company cut corners to try to get a job completed without taking the proper steps. As well as, leaving trash on our property, our water running and leaving nails in good shingles from tarping. This is unacceptable and Im sure that your other customers would like to know about how you really handle your warranty repairs. We have been disregarded and disrespected through this process all because its important to us that our house is water tight and safe. We were told not to speak to any of the workers on our roof even if there was a leak currently happening, creating more interior water damage. Its shameful to have had to deal with Total Home Roofing/ Citrus Contracting since January 2021, when the roof was only 5 years old, and this is still what were left with and the roof is still only 8 years old. They have no respect for your property or your home.

Unresponsive Company. Original salesman quoted us roof & gutters & soffits replaced after Hurricane. Had roof replaced in March had the worst experience with crew they left a mess all over my yard and damaged part of my walkway, notified office right away never heard back even though we sent photos, and a salesman came out (not my original one) and saw damage. We were told other work would start after inspection, never heard when inspection happened even though we called numerous times, only to find out it happened a week after. No communication we asked when the other work would happen and told it as cancelled due to money from insurance even though we had received a check in the waiting of the 2 months. Then we get invoice with a mysterious $2,000 with no explanation also included the work not done. Again, phone calls for explanation and get nothing other than they need to contact their invoice department and I can't call them. Here we are in September and still no calls or explanation of this $2,000 dollars added to invoice or about the damage caused by roofers.

I am very disappointed and so regretful that I hired this company. As of 08/18/2023 the work that they were contracted to do is still incomplete! On 10/25/2022 I was solicited on social media after posting in a local Facebook group looking for a reliable contractor. I was contacted by Citrus Contractors, but I was told that they are owned by Angi, as in Angie’s list. They said that they can definitely do all of the work I had described in my post and even offer to help with my insurance claim. I thought it was perfect because I had so much damage in so many different areas of my home and I knew I would need a lot of different types of trade work in order to get my home back to how it was prior to the storm. Unfortunately, it has not been perfect. It hasn’t even been okay..its been a nightmare that has been going on for almost a year. They have caused notable damage to my home and are now refusing to fix it. They are also charging me the full amount of my contract without doing most of the work, and are cheeky enough to put it in writing. They put a lien on my house after knowing that my roof failed inspection, but will not communicate with me. The roofers that they sent were all drunk and I have video proof of them drinking alcohol while working on my roof. They’ve left such a mess at my house that a roofing nail embedded in my husband’s leg while he was mowing the lawn, he was out of work for a week fighting the infection that it caused. They have fired almost every person that has had any contact with me. I do not recommend this company to anybody. They are horrible! Not only do they do bad work, but the refusal to communicate with me as a customer is so disrespectful. At this point, I may have to hire a lawyer in order to be made whole and to have the lien removed from my house. A lien that was put on for the roof that failed all three inspections and had to be replaced. Sadly, my home has been in a constant state of construction since October of last year.

Do not use, and if you do, do not allow them to work with your insurance. Contracted at a signed agreed price. Work was started before a rain storm & caused interior water damage. Did not complete punch list items to complete the job. Invoiced to match insurance payout instead of contracted price. Filed a lien on the house and assigned a debt collector. Awaiting resolution. Save yourself the trouble, hire someone else.

We have tried to work directly with this homeowner before sending their account to collections to get the full balance owned. At this time we are still owed and the account is with the collections team.

DO NOT HIRE this contractor. Deceptive sales, and little to no communication when there are issues to be resolved, but they will communicate often to collect your money. There is no one point person for your job either. You will almost always talk to a different person, and they call you using a different phone number each time. I still have various issues with my job such as vertical ripples in the shingles, messed up inner corner aluminum fascia leaving a gaping hole, fascia board attached by the decking only. The tails on the trusses needed to be extended a foot or so, so the new fascia board is only nailed to the decking. I was told after the fact many months later that they will not extend the truss tails. They also had to come back to install the drier vent because it had been shingled over. The home owner basically has to micromanage the job because their job managers seem to be working solely off site.

The homeowner needs the truss tails extended and this was not something we would be able to complete and would require a GC. The homeowner had a field, office manager and collections phone number and called between all 3 daily. We have also explained provided exact and factual information to this homeowner for months.
