I have a wellness plan with Happy Healthy Pets through my Vet. I have an appointment for a dental cleaning for my dog ****. **** has been going to this vet for over 2 years. On 5/6 I received an "estimate" for services which included an addition for a $100 deposit, $271.80 per hour for surgery, which I am not requesting and is not indicated necessary on his last visit, and $150 for additional medications and procedures. I contacted the Vet and was told they now require the $100 deposit in case I do not show for the appointment, and the other estimate is "just in case". I have NEVER had to pay a deposit for an appointment. Common practice is to charge the fee after a no show. I have not given approval for any surgery, the appointment is for a dental cleaning which is covered in the wellness plan I pay for. In the past if they needed additional services they would call and let me know so I could determine if I could pay for it. Again, not a common practice. I have requested they waive the required deposit but they refused.Business response

Contract has been cancelled and owed payment have been resolved by hospital. Nothing owed by client.
