Company installed windows on 4/19/2021. During install they damaged one of my brand new lanai screens that were installed by a different general contractor the day before this happened. I notified the agent at the company, Danielle D., immediately of the damage from the installers. I sent MANY text messages, phone calls, and voicemails for the past 5 months. Danielle promised that the screen damaged would be repaired many times but it remains damaged. I provided Danielle contact information for the general contractor who installed the screens but Danielle stated that his cost ($300) was too expensive to replace the damaged brand new screen. I have not received a response via phone call or text messages in over 2 months (7/15/2021). The company has abandoned repairing the damage that they caused to my home that was promised to be rectified. I am seeking that the screen be repaired or funds be issued after a licensed contractor has provided an estimate.

Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2021/10/01) */ Window sub-contractor installers were here today. The Home Depot made a lot of mistakes. 2 windows and 1 sliding glass door panel need to be ordered and replaced still, 1 sash for dining room window, trim pieces for the living room picture window, trim piece for one of the dining room windows, and the trim for all windows has not been installed still. ALL of these parts were supposed to be in this order but were never ordered. I have NOT received ANY financial concessions for the damages to my home/personal property and the damaged window parts that are not being replaced. This was promised months ago but has not happened. Business Response /* (1000, 12, 2021/11/18) */ Business response taken verbally by BBB: I do not have a contract with this person, they are not a customer with us. Home Depot is suppling the materials for this job so they are responsible for delays or issues with the materials. The installation is complete at this time with no issues with our services we provided. Home Depot has compensated her for her screen. This complaint should not be against us as we have no control over the materials.
