    Gas Fireplace installation on 12/1/23. Due to December's warm temperature, the fireplace was used about 6 - 8 times. It would work erratically; sometimes it would turn on and work fine for hours while other times, it would randomly turn off immediately after ignition and beep for 5 minutes. By January 10th, it rarely started properly. On 1/11/24, the owner came to repair the issue; he cleaned the igniter switch adding vaseline to it among a few other "fixes". It came on while he was there and worked correctly about 4 uses before beginning to turn itself off and beep for 5 minutes, repeating the pattern established in December. He returned on 1/20, changed the battery and a few other things and again, it worked while he was there (in the afternoon) and again that evening. However, when we attempted to turn it on the next morning (2/1/24), it turned itself off, beeped for 5 minutes and has not turned on and stayed on since. On 2/1/24, we notified him that we wanted no more "fixes" but wanted the log set and igniter replaced under the warranty. He agreed and stated he would place the order the next week after he returned from vacation. He agreed to let us know when his credit card was charged so we would have an idea of the installation date. On 3/2/24, we had heard nothing from him. After several ignored messages, we advised him that we would be reaching out to the BBB if he did not reply and give us an update. He responded on 3/4/24 that since we were being "mean to him", he didn't want to "make this right". We want him to update us on the order and to deliver and install the new log set/igniter as agreed in a timely manner or to refund us the cost ($2400.00) so that we can order it.

    Although this page states that there have been no complaints regarding this company, there was one filed on March 11 2024. We are awaiting a response from the company to see if the owner will resolve the issue. On December 1 2023, the owner installed a gas fireplace. December was fairly warm and the fireplace was used about 6 times. In January, it began to turn itself off randomly. The owner came and did a few "fixes" including filing down a part, greasing a part with vaseline etc. He made a second visit a week later when the issue began to happen again, although now, it was worse. The fireplace would ignite one out of three attempts. It would ignite and then turn off and beep for five minutes. This time, he changed out a battery and few other "fixes" and then stated he felt it was a part that he had already ordered for three other customers (after repeatedly assuring us that he sold these hundreds of times without any issue!). Again, the fireplace came on before he left, worked a few times properly and by February 1st stopped working entirely. At this point, we requested the heater be replaced. He agreed and stated he would order it when he returned from vacation. A week after his return, we asked if he had ordered the replacement. He stated he had and would let us know when his credit card was charged. He did not. We reached out again and received no update from him at all. On March 4th, we were told that we were being "mean to him" and that "in his defense" he got the fireplace working before he left and so he didn't want to "make this right" but claimed he would let us know on Wednesday (the 6th) whether it had been delivered. It is now March 20th and we have yet to hear whether the product was delivered and ready to be installed.
