Folsom came to re-pipe the copper air conditioning lines as there was a hole in the existing lines. The owner, even came to the house and told me that they 7/8 piping is not ideal for the system and explained to me that the larger 1 1/8 piping would be better to save money as in the future, the codes may change to the larger piping with more efficient systems - so pay more now to avoid having to pay to re-pipe again in the future which may cost another $5-$10k.After consulting with my usual air conditioning guy, I agreed to the upfront costs now with the larger 1 1/8 in piping. I have the electronic receipt stating that line replacement was supposed to be for the 1 1/8in piping. It was discovered that the smaller 7/8in piping was installed which was confirmed by their technician who came out to do the warranty work, instead of the larger and more expensive 1 1/8in piping. I have been calling for the past 4 weeks to speak with someone about the issue but no one has returned my call when I left my name and number. I was assured that a manager will call me but no one calls.Business response

We have reached out to the Client to schedule to re pipe the suction line. I will in no way refund any money however will correct the issue. The employee that handled the project is no longer with our company for good reason. We look forward to making the correction for ****** and his family. We have since required follow up visits with every client so this doesn't happen in the future. ****** is a great client.

Folsom electric misdiagnosed an ac issue and would not refund the diagnostic fee. Their technician claimed the internal blower motor needed replacement for almost $800. We called for a second opinion. The technician for the second company verified that the blower is working and changed a relay and the thermostat for $150. When i asked for a refund, I was told they could not verify that I was telling the truth. I told them they could send a technician to physically look and see with their own eyes and hands that the internal blower motor was not replaced, which would prove they misdiagnosed the issue given that the ac is working now. They refused. They also tried to convince us to apply for financing to change the entire unit. They should not charge for a job they are incapable of doing. The technician should have been honest and told us he is incapable of diagnosing the issue and the honest thing would have been not to charge a diagnostic fee. Indeed there was no proper diagnosis. This company has acted in bad faith.
