On June 25, 2022, I hired *********************** to repair my Vinotemp wine fridge. He performed a service call and stated that a new controller board was needed and that he would order a replacement part. He charged me $65 for the service call that would be applied to the repair when the part was received. I have called ***** every month the past year asking for status on my repair. Every time he tells me has ordered the part and it hasn't come in and/or he is not able to reach anyone at Vinotemp to get status of his order.On July 7, 2023, I attempted to call Vinotemp myself to validate *****'s claims. I called the parts number on Vinotemp's web site *************) and was able to directly speak to someone. They confirmed that the phone number was correct for ordering parts.On July 7, 2023, I called *****'s Appliance again at ************ and provided the phone number I had used to speak directly to someone at Vinotemp. I was told that ***** would call me back and he did not, so I texted him this information to ************. On July 12, 2023, I texted ***** again and asked for an update, but received no response.I have been more than patient, waiting for a year, for my wine fridge to be repaired. I have asked for a refund multiple time, but just continue to get excuses.Please help me obtain a refund as it seems that ***** has no intention of making the repair.
