On June 25, 2022, I hired *********************** to repair my Vinotemp wine fridge. He performed a service call and stated that a new controller board was needed and that he would order a replacement part. He charged me $65 for the service call that would be applied to the repair when the part was received. I have called ***** every month the past year asking for status on my repair. Every time he tells me has ordered the part and it hasn't come in and/or he is not able to reach anyone at Vinotemp to get status of his order.On July 7, 2023, I attempted to call Vinotemp myself to validate *****'s claims. I called the parts number on Vinotemp's web site *************) and was able to directly speak to someone. They confirmed that the phone number was correct for ordering parts.On July 7, 2023, I called *****'s Appliance again at ************ and provided the phone number I had used to speak directly to someone at Vinotemp. I was told that ***** would call me back and he did not, so I texted him this information to ************. On July 12, 2023, I texted ***** again and asked for an update, but received no response.I have been more than patient, waiting for a year, for my wine fridge to be repaired. I have asked for a refund multiple time, but just continue to get excuses.Please help me obtain a refund as it seems that ***** has no intention of making the repair.Business response

ID ********. We do understand why our customer is frustrated for we are as well. We have on several occasions attempted to get the necessary part from Vinotemp. We were continuously told the part was either on backorder or they could not find our order. The last time we contacted them we were told the part was no longer available. We did our best to get the part for our customer. We are no longer doing business with Vinotemp. We will refund the $65.00 diagnostic fee.
