I have been having a lot of issues with 2 workers that work at the RClub located at the Eisenhower elementary school! Soon as I started sending my 3 children to the Rclub 1 of my children has been having so many behavioral issues he can have a good day at school and go to RClub with a smile on his face (words from his actual teacher) but when we go to pick him up supposedly they "had" so many issues with him "behavioral" wise there was one incident where my son who is only 4 years old dropped his tray of food on the floor and a assistant director for that site got in my sons face and yelled at him my son told me he dont like when people get in his face because their spit hits his face!! So I filed a complaint about that to the supervisor of the supervisor of the Eisenhower site! Ever since then there has been so much retaliation my son has been suspended twice since I filed these complaints and police was called on my 4 year old because the same lady claimed my son made a threat to her again the next day after me filing a complain!! One day I took my soon in the morning to Rclub and this lady said hello MR ****** about 5 times and was just tagernizing him to upset him!! After we left she put him on a time out just because he did not say good morning back this lady's name is Ms ***** she also tells all the children they are lucky they have money because she is homeless living in her car!! She comes to work in dirty clothing basketball shorts and a t-shirt so unprofessional It concerns me on hos all the children get treated there and nothing gets done! When I first went to get the paper work to start the program I thought I was signing my kids up for boot camp this ************* talks so hard to the children I really think this place should be looked into!!Business response

Response to Customers Statement:
Our response to each of the parents concerns/issues are as follows:RClub Child Care is dedicated to providing quality before/after care to children and families throughout Pinellas County. We strive to meet and exceed the expectations of the children and families we serve. In the event that an issue arises we will address those concerns promptly and provide additional resources for our staff. We hold our staff accountable and are always open to continuous quality improvement.
We do not retaliate against families who bring concerns to our attention. We appreciate the feedback and the opportunity to address concerns and provide quality care.
The child was not placed in time-out after the parent left from the morning program. The child was having outbursts (throwing food) at a breakfast table and our staff redirected him to a different table.The child has been suspended due to infractions to our Discipline Policy. We are a group care setting and are unable to provide one on one services. The child has displayed behaviors that are dangerous to himself and/or others and we follow our Discipline Policy that all parents sign during the enrollment process. We make all reasonable accommodation so that ALL children can be successful in our program. We will only suspend when necessary and when the behavior is a danger to themselves or others. Our Behavior Specialist has been involved and made recommendations to our staff.
We did not call the police on a 4-year-old child. The child made a statement that an adult posed potential violence with a weapon. We made the School Resource Officer aware of what the child said, and SRO recommended that we file a report with the police department due to the serious nature of the childs statement. We followed the recommendation of the **** and we contacted the police. No action was taken against the child.
We have spoken with the parent, investigated and addressed their concerns promptly and felt that all complaints were addressed satisfactorily. All 3 of the complainants children have remained in our program and have enrolled in the upcoming summer program of 2023.
