Not worth even one star. Worst experience I have ever had with an investment firm. After two weeks they still had failed to move the funds from our accounts to our bank accounts. We got emails everyday promising the money the next day, then the next, then the next, only to be told that they forgot to sell some of it and we had to wait longer. As I write this we still haven't received a dime. The advisor was nothing short of a car salesman that was insincere and once we said we didn't want to invest with them (we are beneficiaries - my father passed away), he got up and left and put us with office staff. I suppose we will get something before we pass away. The incompetence with the office and Raymond James itself is what deserves 5 stars.Review from Lawrence K

Jon S. at Raymond James in Watkinsville GA was the primary advisor of my elderly late father's finances. One of those assets was a pre-existing Prudential IRA exceeding $210,000. Jon knew (as evidenced by other assets handled by him at RJ) that the IRA should have designated my father's four sons as direct beneficiaries rather than designating the estate. However, due to Jon's inattention or negligence, he did not ensure this occurred. The result was a loss of the sons' ability to defer taxes and have the investments grow tax-free for up to 10 years in beneficiary IRAs. Jon also failed to inquire about other (smaller) assets, with a similar result as Prudential. Moreover, Jon and his assistant Leigh Anne K. were virtually non-responsive throughout the estate process. One result was major confusion and frustration which led to a falling out among two of the sons. I would urge anyone considering Raymond James especially in Watkinsville GA, particularly Jon S., to stay away.
