First off drivers were amazing and helpful. However when it came time to pay I was told it was 2.5 times more than the original quote. I spoke to the owner and his only remedy was to take the tip away from the drivers which is horrible business practice I declined taking their gratuity. And was stuck with the obscene bill

After making payment Mr. ***** called and wanted to renegotiate his payment, asking for $160 refund on the $600 bill he had paid. He made statements contradicting his moving agreement he has signed to convince me to refund him $160. A copy of his move agreement is above. It's my understanding from the phone conversation we had after the move completion and payment for his move, that his anger for my refusing to refund $160 turned into his own self loathing for paying the bill instead of contacting me before making payment as the move agreement states. His anger on the phone brewed into a hate he is now taking out on me. Thank you,Scott Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2022/04/28) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) I never turned to hate rather than to understand when their are two big guys awaiting payment and are charging you 600 for a 280 quote my GF and her daughter were in the house and I feared for their safety as two burly guys changed my estimated price from 280 to 600 maki g me pay 160 for drive time on top of a 40 charge to move to largo. The owner was rude and not willing to accept his own negligence and blame. Instead left me with a 600 bill and two bouncer looking individuals in my home with no way out and no other options I was forced to pay them in order for them to leave or possibly what break my stuff in front of my family????? This is unacceptable busisness practice and price gouging after the agreed upon amount Business Response /* (4000, 10, 2022/04/28) */ Your estimate was $280, that never changed. Your bill was 3.5 hours labor to move from downtown St. Pete to north Largo; by 2 movers at $160 an hour as per the move agreement you signed. The increase in labor hours according to you is parking difficulty and having to move your belongings from the back of the building around to the front of the building and then a bed that did'nt fit in your new home causing the disassemble and reassemble of the ikea bed. I'm still not sure what part of the 3.5 hours of the movers labor you do not want to honor. Sorry maybe I'm not understanding the move agreement? Please explain. Maybe you and I are having a hard time communicating. Would you like to discuss with George, the foreman the day of your move as he can explain more clearly why the factors during the moving created more labor hours? Thank you, Scott
