*****************, of Dalton Wade real estate group, is illegally withholding funds to include the security deposit with my associated property. The previous property manager, ***********************, relieved himself of his duties on 24 July 2024, 4 days prior to the lease ending and the move-out occurring. ***********************, then advised the tenants that he was no longer the property manager. From that period; I, *************************, the owner, took over management of my property. I advised *********************** of this and requested the funds associated with this account to be transferred to me on 24 July 2024. ****, told me that the "Dalton wade accounting department" will handle the transfer. I reached back out to **** the following day, 25 July 2024, inquiring about the security deposit transfer, he did not reply until the 26th of July 2024, he stated that he advised the broker to return the security deposit to me and that he was waiting on their response. The following day, 27 July 2024, **** stated that he spoke with his broker and they refused to transfer the funds and stated his broker has the funds. **** refused to give the name and phone number of the broker and stated that he would only transfer the funds to another property manager. Again, I advised **** that I was managing my own property and requested the funds and the broker's number. I requested 4 additional and 2 days after I did the move out with my tenants, **** gave me "Dalton Wade real estate group's agent support number, where I received the broker's information. I spoke to **** after my second attempt on 5 Aug 2024, where **** stated that "he spoke to **** and **** told him that he felt that ******* would not give the tenants their money and not to transfer the funds to her." This is in direct violation of Florida s. *******, **** nor **** are associated with my property, nor did the placement or tenant move out. This is now infringing on my rights to provide notice of repairs and time to respond per Florida law.Initial Complaint

My wife ******** ***** and I along with our Son ****** **** filled out a rental application for a residence in Riverview Fl with Mr John S. We were told that we were not approved because our son had a battery charge on his record which the charges were dropped. We feel like that was racial discrimination from Mr John S. because my wife and I have no criminal history of any kind. This was an inconvenience for us. We would like all of our application fees of $162.00 to be refunded.Business response

Consumer Response /* (3000, 11, 2022/06/14) */ The boss of Mr John S. at Dalton Wade Real Estate Group contacted me directly and told my wife and I that he would send us a check for the amount of the application fees of $162.00. We still haven't received the money owed to us and I will not close this complaint until the money is paid to us.Initial Complaint

I used a Realtor Lorie K. who works for Dalton W. Brokerage out of St. Petersburg, FL She lies, misrepresents, has authorized contractors who I had to pay without my prior consent. After I complained she "FIRED" me as her client??? Now she is "INCOMMUNICADO" and I am "Under Contract" on a 400K house without anyone to represent me and provide Commnication. I intend to file complaints to the NAR later, for now I want a NEW AGENT to takeover and help me close on my house. I have called the Corporation at the number on their website... But nobody has responded??? Please helpBusiness response

This response is from the agent who is the "PROBLEM" This needs to be escalated to the "Broker" who is liable for the actions of the agent.
