      TERRIBLE! Over and over again, lie that the tech will be out, and no show each time. When you call to see where the tech is, they get snotty over the phone and hang up. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!There wasn't a zero star but that is what they deserve

      This is the most dysfunctional office environment place i have ever worked. Owner "***** Bennett" is a very verbal abuse owner for his employees. He treats everyone like slaves, no benefits, and when things dont go his way, he call all his employees , STUPID, IDIOTS, and start throwing things in the office. He also disrespected women calling them all sort of names...He smokes POT in the office, for lunch he goes to ****, have few cocktails and come back to office and start screaming at everyone.He also screams at customers when they dont agree with him. i dont know how he still in business this way and why all the Home Warranty Companies give him work. ***** , the office manager is another drama queen. She talks to herself, she keep saying she hates people and want to kill herself.. This is a Mental Institution, not a profession work place....These people need Therapy and should not be doing business..He send his techs to home and make it worse for the Customers by doing FRUDE. They tell Customers what they need to do when they dont need to. This is a very pathetic place to work.Good Luck..

      I would give these "professionals" a zero if I could. They came out to service my A/C unit that was not cooling under my Choice Home Warranty (AVOID CHOICE HW AS WELL AS THEY ARE ZERO'S TOO AS I ONLY HAD THEM FOR 9 MONTHS AND THIS WAS MY ONLY BIG ITEM CLAIM). Determined that the coil needed cleaning. Choice HW said no coverage as caused by a lack of maintenance, so I paid $650 to *************************** for the coil to be cleaned as my tenant needed ** in *******. The ** worked for less than a day. They came back and then decided that the issue was the compressor valves were going bad...totally not the coil that I spent $650 on two days prior. Choice HW again declined to cover but their "contractor" offered to put in a new unit for $7,000 or a compressor for $3700. Sounded a lot like a great deal for Choice's "contractor". I declined their inflated offer, canceled my useless contract with Choice and have found an honest and reputable local A/C company. Based on the reviews I see on BBB many have found, as have I, that both Choice and Bennett and Sons certainly are poster children for "Buyer Beware".

      They never keep their appointments and cancel for frivolous reasons. Sound like highly incompetent staff and technicians. This company should be black listed

      Worse company I have ever dealt with, been threatened by Patty and lied to by both Pam and Christine. We have been without A/C since August 23 and zero contact, unless you call them. After 8 days of NO A/C and myself being on medication, my wife kept calling and explaining our house was 97° inside. When she called Patty 9n the 1st of September, to find out why this was taking so long to get the paperwork to our home warranty company Cinch , Patty told my wife if you call me again " I will hold your order ticket and NOT send it , till Tuesday after the holiday " Labor Day weekend. We asked to speak to the owner , since our a/c unit is less than 3 year's old and it impossible. The office people will tell you ** all day. STAY CLEAR . The owner left me a message after , I spoke to the technician, because he suggested to replace the entire unit. I returned the call to the office twice, NEVER heard back . Scale of 1-10 , negative 10. We are taking them to court.

      This is the worst company I have ever had to deal with. They just don't care they liea. Tues 8/29 appt. 11_3 at 3 called them said he was not coming. Wed.8/30 no show no call said it would be priority on Thursday. Thursday again scheduled 11-3 said he would call us waited til 3 called them and they said that the tech for that area did not come in Thursday. They had to know that when they said he would call us. So now it has been 5 days of no AC in Florida and they just don't care. Stayed at home three days waiting for them and is rescheduled for tomorrow 9/1 as if they will show up.

      This company is unreliable and unprofessional. I made a confirmed appointment with them and wasn't even given a courtesy call that they probably won't make it to my home that day. The woman who answers the calls is rude, patronizing and would not let me finish a sentence. She literally hung up on me. Find another AC company. I only left a star for review because I had to choose. I'd give 0 star if it was an option.

      A 1 star is a generous review. 3 no call no shows. Patty has been nothing but rude and unprofessional. Every review she gets bashed. Its so true. Last night i spoke to the owner (Harry) and he assured me they will be out first thing. That was only after multiple calls to him and an email stating our displeasure with his company. Well this morning I called and spoke to him about them canceling our claim after 2 weeks. He was not happy that i mentioned we would be writing a review on his company. I told him my 3 kids have been without AC for 2 weeks and he laughed and said "well its going to be longer now". He proceeded to yell into the phone saying "F#$% you" multiple time and calling my wife a bitch. I am not exaggerating at all. This man is a class act and will never allow them to service my home again. Read the reviews. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH BENNETT AND SONS

      PATTY is a PROBLEM!!! She is the most unprofessional agent I have dealt with. She scheduled so many times and no one showed up. MOST ALL these reviews talk about PATTY'S HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. The problem is PATTY. She raised her voice, talked over me and cut me off. PATTY has major PROBLEM SCHEDULING. PATTY communication is a MAJOR PROBLEM From reading the rest of these reviews there is a picture that is being PAINTED - if PROBLEM PATTY do a half decent job with SCHEDULING and CUSTOMER SERVICE I don't believe this company would have as many of these HORRIBLE reviews and would have more repeat business if she were taken out the equation.

      7/3/23 early am. Called them to come and repair the AC that was rising a few degrees in the evening above the thermostat... this usually means refrigerant needed. Tech started to add R410A. Then said it was a TXV Expansion Valve. Outside air temp 95-98 for days making it critical for us to have AC. He left and system immediately started rising in temperature until it got to 86 inside. We turned off the system as it was not working. We called back and talked to Patty (very rude) and owner Harry Bennett, both who were not very understanding to the problem the tech had made much, much worse than it was before he came. Harry said he didn't know if they would be able to come back out today. No mention of when they would come. So, we suffered in the horrible heat. 7/4 HOLIDAY Suffered again in the heat. 7/5 I called at 9 am to confirm they would come today. Was told with 99% certainty they would. Told them we had not been given the price for the TXV Expansion Valve repair yet. At 4:45 pm Angel called and said rescheduled for 8-12 7/6. I asked for repair price and she transferred me to Patty who did not have a price (since Monday), she didn't know why I had been told I was on the schedule for 8-12 7/6. Would call Thursday. We decided it was critical that we have AC and called another company to come. Suffered in the heat again. The other AC company discovered that the wrong refrigerant was put in the system and made it not work. The outside unit and indoor TXV was marked to use R22 refrigerant - newer air handler marked 410a. Bennett tech had put in R410a. Other AC company removed all refrigerant, vacuumed and added R22 refrigerant. System was down to 73 in a couple of hours. NO problem with the TXV value whatsoever. Cost us a whopping $845 due to the wrong refrigerant being put in. Bennett and Sons should send us a check for reimbursement or court. Unfortunate incident - they need better tech and customer service training. Jan W
