We wanted to purchase a 20yd shipping container and they gave us a good quote on a new one for $2000.00 including delivery. He said we have to pay $900 up front and the rest of the money would be due upon delivery. On 4/8/2024 We wired him $900- to Account Holder: ************************* Account Number: ********** Route Number: ********* Account Type: Checking Swift/Bic: UPNBUS44XXX Bank Name: Regions Address: ***********************************************************************************************************. He confirmed he received it, and he was setting up the delivery. On 4/10/2024 I received an email from the delivery company ************************ Tkaz ************* ). The delivery company was saying we needed to pay for insurance for the container to be shipped although it was 95% Refundable. I called *********************** from ACE in a panic asking him why he never mentioned this. He acted cool and calm, said not to worry, just pay so our shipment won't get delayed. Our bank rejected our cc payment towards the warranty, so i asked for the delivery companies wire info - Routing number: ********* account number: ************** account holder: ************************* Bank name : ******** address : *************************************. - At this point it all started to feel like we were being scammed and we were. And text him upset telling him about karma. He said we can refund you the $900 it will only take 4-5 days. SO i reached out to him 4/11/2024 telling him we want the refund. he proceeded to tell me that we would have to fill out a from that costs $250 that is also refundable. At this point i told my boss and he tried to call the *********************** and ask for the refund and ********************* up in his face.
