      The instructors in this studio are the only reason there is any mbrship at all. They’ve kept the spirit of empowerment alive and been welcoming regardless of where you’re at in your wellness journey since day one. These ladies deserve better, better management and better business ownership. My heart breaks because they’re trying so dang hard to keep going for the members while leadership above them doesn’t do anything but try to get new people to charge money to. I’ve been a mbr here since opening-pandemic when classes were outdoors. I then recently started worked here. And the only thing I can say is that the owner, Brent Zartler is the most sexist, narcissistic and unlawful business owner I have ever been in contact with. He charges your card without permission/signs contracts on your behalf/creates charges out of thin air and above all, if you’re a female and work there he will treat you like trash but if you’re a male and work there you’ll get a free membership (just recently learned that when one of the new front desk staff -male- let me know he has a free membership, while as I was paying). Only cares about getting new ppl in the door, not maintaining/nourishing existing mbrship base. The studio is without toilet paper or water though he will act like it’s the first time he’s heard these complaints when someone tells him, but don’t worry, he won’t forget to charge you for shoes rentals when they haven’t been thoroughly cleaned since opening. The bikes haven’t been maintained properly at all…I hung on for so long because of the instructors and the og members. These instructors make the class a safe space, but the lack of care to the actual studio is just unacceptable. The way $ has been charged without consent, not just to me but other mbrs is absolutely absurd and I’m shocked the doors are still open. I had to walk away. If new ownership came through I’d be back, but till then, I wish the instructors well and pray things get better

      I purchased a month-to-month membership which I cancelled by following the procedure outlined in my contract. First, the contract only provided one way to cancel, which was via certified letter. The post office returned the letter to me because it was unclaimed by the recipient. Then I called and was told I had to fill out a form and email it, which I did. By then, the next billing cycle came along, and I had to pay another full month. Then, they charged another $179 as a cancellation fee, which is nowhere in the contract. In fact the contract states $0 fee for canceling. Then they added $100 in “late fees” and now they are attempting to send me to collections. This is a series of illegal and unethical business practices that are more expensive for the customer to pursue legally, not to mention placing the burden of proof on the customer to repair credit damaged in an illegal and unethical fashion. They are doing this because they can, because it’s harder to fight this legally than to cave in and pay these fraudulent charges.

      They were running a "$4 special" for 4 classes, but you would have to pay a $55 maintenance fee on the bikes. SCAM! After the first month, I knew that it wasn't for me so I called several times, left voicemails, but no one followed up with me. The cycle bar has attempted to charge my card EVERYDAY for the past two months different charges ranging from $15- $200. The amount of times they've attempted to charge my card was well over 80 times! When I was finally able to get a hold of a manager, she asked me if I had recording of the voicemails that I left to show proof. I've never felt the need to document or record my phone calls! They also accused me of blocking their number! SMH!! On top of all the "late fees" and "decline fees" I had to pay another month in order to cancel since the cancellation have to be within 60 days before renewal. ********YOUR ACCOUNT BALANCE ALSO HAVE TO BE ZERO IN ORDER FOR YOU TO CANCEL YOUR MEMBERSHIP!! ***** If not, you will continue to get charged a monthly fee on top of late fees and decline card fees!!!!!!!! SCAM!!!! I also tried to get a hold of Corprate several of times, but they seem to follow the same pattern of no follow up. Update 10/27/22 I'm still getting getting charged fees! No one follows up with me. Including fees and all, I basically paid $300 for 4 classes. I wish I never stepped foot in this place! It's impossible to cancel.

      The manager at Cycle Bar has overcharged me several times. I finally confronted him about this, and he denied it. I provided him documentation and proof that he was in the wrong and he continued to deny it. This owner provides horrible customer service and takes every opportunity to scam customers out of money. Do not go here.

      CycleBar Heathrow has attempted several times via phone and email to reach out to a miss Shantala ****. She gave her 30 day notice in writing at the front desk on 5/10/2022. Her membership cancelled on 6/10/2022. Per the monthly membership agreement at the studio location, you may cancel anytime with a 30 day written notice. She did that and her final payment was charged for her membership on 5/14/2022 along with a cancellation processing fee of $15. She could have used those services over that final period of time. After cancellation she then proceeded to call her bank and issue a chargeback for the final payment. She did get the money returned to her and the studio incurred additional chargeback fees from the bank. When the studio manager reached out Shantala, she proceeded to express that she is not paying her final payment. We then told her we would pay and waive the $15 cancellation fee as well as the return payment fee and all she has to pay is the final month payment that was due in the first place. She did not pay and she did get all of her money back in the end and has not been responding to any studio communication. Not only did she get her money back, but the studio incurred bank fees for an invoice that was a valid charge per membership agreement. A 30 day notice to cancel is standard in the fitness industry and sometimes people try to get out of paying the final month payment. In this case Shantala **** did get out of paying. Her membership is cancelled and all of those fees were returned to her.

      Hello! Yes, I was fine with being charged the $89 for the last 30 days, but then Cycle bar decided to charge an additional $15 which I did not agree to ever. I actually have never signed a membership with Cycle bar and they claimed I had and that I had agreed to this $15 charge. When I asked them to prove this in writing, they could not prove it. I asked that they charge of $15 be removed and I would pay the $89 fee. They refused, so I disputed it with my credit card. They were unable to prove to my credit card that I owed them, so my credit card refunded me, but I still told them I would give them a check once my card cleared. However, they continued to not admit that they were trying to overcharge. I decided this was an unhealthy and manipulative environment and I never went back the final 30 days. This is not the first time this has happened and I have been charged in error. I consistently have talked to the owner on the phone to fix charges. I have stopped calling these people back honestly because they lie and have no documentation to prove that I owe anything. If you would like the string of emails to better explain what I am saying and/or text messages with conflicting information from the owner, let me know. Thanks!

      CycleBar Heathrow has a standard $15 cancellation processing fee. There is a sign with fee disclosures posted by the ipads where members check in for classes and it is also disclosed on the cancellation form that Shantala did sign in the studio. Not sure how miss Shantala was confused about this fee, but we have since waived the $15 fee as well as the return payment and late fees that posted to her account and her account when she did a chargeback with her bank. Her account is cancelled at this time.

      The $15 fee was not on the form signed to cancel my membership. I asked for a copy of this form as proof and was told that it was lost. How convenient of them to lose the form I signed when I asked for proof about what it said.

      I received a text message that I won 6 Rides for $12. It sounded like a good deal. Strangely I give my information to pay for the 6 rides that were $12 and I get emailed a contract that says I signed up for a membership. I never said yes to a contract or anything other than the 6 rides I won. I was told don't pay attention to the contract that doesn't matter. I say well if it doesn't matter than please provide me with confirmation that it is not valid in an email. I did receive an email the contract would expire automatically on 5/17 which was the duration of time to use the 6 rides. A new charge was attempted on my card every few days until finally they tried a $40 charge. This was getting ridiculous where did a $40 charge even come from. Luckily, I used a prepaid card I had for the $12 payment. Which I may add I was charged $15 not $12. I get a receipt that says I was charged $15 for shoes which was mentioned. When I call about the $40. Victor ******** the manager says they attempted a shoe rental charge for $40. Strange since the $12 I was initially supposed to be charged was a shoe rental charge of $15 in which they sent me a receipt. "Shoe Rental" is the go to scam charge. I never even had the chance to sign up for a class because the unscrupulous attempts at charging my card completely turned me off. I contacted Victor and he "cancelled" a membership I never signed up for and obliged to my request to completely remove me from their system. We will see if I am contacted by ******************* "CycleBar Heathrow" or anymore payments are attempted. My WARNING IS TO AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. How do you become a member of something without agreeing to it? UNAUTHORIZED ATTEMPTED CHARGES OCCURRED SEVERAL TIMES over the course of a few days. SCARY!! This company is not forthcoming in their attempts at generating membership which is sad that they don't believe in the worth of the service they provide that they need to operate in such a way.

      Cyclebar Heathrow highly disappointed me! They say one thing and do another. During the height of pandemic I was pregnant and this business continued to charge me even when I put my account on hold/freeze. They then said I can use my two months this year (2021) and charged me again when I paid last year. The management staff must have high turn over since I'm always speaking with a different manager who doesn't have say in honoring things that were already in writing. They always need to speak to the owner who then also doesn't honor things his staff mentions in email. I had to get my bank involved to stop payment and Cyclebar Heathrow had the audacity to charge me another $25 dollars for return check fee when I was never supposed to be charged in the first place. They said they could not refund that. They don't care if you are having health issues as well and can't use the membership. I will NEVER step foot in a Cyclebar again and for all of the money spent, I could have purchased a peloton. I actually will in the future. Save your money and frustration. This business is awful!
