My daughters home in PT ******** was built without insulation please help us?? the electric bill has been si high so we had the house checked please please help her??

We are not able to locate the home owner with out an address. We have sent an email to the email address provide by the BBB and as of today no response. thank you

We purchased a Maronda Home in April of ************************************************ June of 2023. We had built a home in the past with a different builder and had an absolutely horrible experience, so we were a little nervous to do it again. But from start to finish we were thrilled with the level of communication and care from everyone we spoke to at Maronda. Our original sales person left the company somewhere in the process of our build but ***** jumped right in with helpful insight, expertise, and friendliness. She was always extremely quick to respond to any question we had and follow up on the timeline of our build. ****, the construction supervisor, was amazing. He found things during our walk throughs that we hadnt noticed. His level of communication and thoroughness is top notch and Maronda should feel lucky to have him! Our home is beautiful and we are settling in nicely. We have only had one issue so far (with our water heater) and it was resolved next day. Everything we were told our home would have or comes with has been done beautifully and we have never felt more at home. The whole teams professionalism is something I have not found and I would be happy to purchase another home with Maronda in the future!

On 4/23/24, we closed on our home in *************. From the beginning of looking for a lot and writing up a contract till even now a few months into living here we have felt like a first priority customer. ***** who worked with us on keeping us informed regularly on the build process and always awnsers any questions in a timely manner. **** who we began working with more directly once we got to our first walk through was also just as helpful. **** on the day of Our first walk through 2 weeks from closing had already been in the home prior to our arrival marking things with blue tape and ensuring everything was perfect not just what we could find. Honestly **** noticed things we would have never noticed. Since moving in we have had virtually no issues with our home, but we have had questions about things and **** has always been available to awnser them. This being our second home we have built, this experience with Maronda Homes and the team working out of the Shad ********* has been far better than the last and much better than what we could have expected.

It is deplorable that there are many complaints about Maronda Homes. I purchased my house 2 years ago from this company as a single mother of three. I experienced a roof leak in November 2023 and contacted Maronda Homes about it in December. The builders came to inspect the attic and roof and informed me that there were no damages. A couple of days later, my warranty ends. However, I still been having roof leaks in the same area they told me that there wasn't any damages. So I called a professional roofing company to inspect my roof and of course, there are damages within the cheap shingles that was put on the roof. This is my first home that I purchased and was informed numerous times that a new roof does not have any problems until after 10 years. I regret not doing my research on Maronda Homes before beginning the process but I am doing my due diligence by informing others of their reputation.

***** did her 6-month inspection on 6/9/22, two months before I was hired. Spoke to ****** and reviewed emails:First reported a roofing issue on 11/29/23, 11 months after the one-year term of the warranty (the term during which it would have been covered) had expired. The attached picture was provided by the homeowner.The issue was referred to ****** because the home is in his area. He stated he would go take a look at it and let her know if it was out of warranty, as well as provide her with contact information for whichever vendor could assist her with the specific problem she was having.****** scheduled a meeting with her and visited the home on 12/4/23. After his visit he wrote this email to melservice for record purposes: "This doesnt look to fall within the two year warranty. I advised that the homeowner call a roofer and then a drywall company once leak has been found and repaired. Damage was dry and no evidence could be gathered from the attic due to lack of space. Took photos and left Kochs number with the homeowner."****** verified the leak was not from a plumbing pipe or the **** system (the only leak-related issues covered for two years), but instead was a roof leak possibly originating from near the bathroom exhaust pipe. He advised her of what he found and told her it was definitely a roof leak and that it was not covered by her warranty. He advised her to contact a roofer to have this problem fixed, provided her with **** Roofing's contact information, and that was the end of it. He states he never told her "there were no damages" and, quite the contrary, told her there was a problem and she needed to have it repaired ASAP. Her statement about the warranty "ending a couple days later" are not accurate. The one year portion of the warranty that would have covered this issue was already 11 months expired during ******'s visit to her home. She then waited another 8 months before making this negative review making us wonder if she's had another roofing problem recently that brought things back to the surface for her. There has been zero contact with her since ******'s visit.

I recently purchased my second home from Maronda. First was in ***********, **. And was a 4 bedroom, 2 bath **********. Both of my experiences with Maronda have been exceptional. They were able to build my home exactly as requested and in a very reasonable time frame. From the first moment working with Maronda to the finished home I felt like I was part of a family. Very impressed with the quality and workmanship that was put into the building process. From ***********************, ************************* and *************************** were with me throughout the building process. Their professionalism, knowledge and commitment to seeing the home buying process be as smooth and stress free was highly appreciated. I am grateful to Maronda for helping my family have such a nice house to call home.

I am in the Florida area and I will say, first and foremost, Maronda Homes has beautiful houses. They offer everything from basic floor models to superior upgrades, depending on your budget. They also have wonderful incentives (depending on your region)so the average *** can afford a home, even when the interest rates are on the higher side. The beautiful houses are why I gave this company two stars. If it wasnt for that, they would get one. The complacency of this company and their outside vendors is ridiculous. The company is a massive production housing company so they are in the business of building HOUSES, not HOMES. The name of the game is speed and things get overlooked. Not missedoverlooked. Even when the issues are pointed out by the future homeowner. Some examples include placing 2x4s in the gaps between the floor and wall because the sheet rock wasnt measured correctly and they didnt want to fix it and making the walls crooked. Due to this, they do not schedule the dry wall walkthrough that they are supposed to schedule with the homeowner, per the contract and schedule set forth by the company. Floors are uneven (sloped) to the point where they are not within Marondas standards and in order to get anyones attention, you have to message corporate. Even then, you are not guaranteed a solution. I will say this on corporates behalf: even though it is their job, they do send someone from corporate out to inspect the complaint. Tile spacers fall into your drains, clogging your pipes simply because they were not cleaned up or proper precautions were not taken in order to prevent an incident or they are left in the tiles and get stuck. People appease you and make empty promises then ignore you when you try to contact them. Again, the complacency and disregard towards its clients is acutely obvious after you sign the closing papers. They do what is right for the company. The only saving ***** they have is that they try if you do not give up.

Everything was close to perfect! Reading so many negative reviews of Maronda I was concerned but didn't find any problems. I chose Maronda because I live in Maronda house built in 2006 and love it. ***** was very attentive to details and even today Saturday he came to our house to show few things we asked for. He is an exemplary Maronda employee!
