      I applied for Errors & Omissions insurance from this company on 09/13/21 and submitted payment in full ($615) for one year by ACH on 09/23/21. The payment cleared my bank on 09/30/21. The insurance was to be effective 10/01/21. On 09/30/21 I was told by Melissa via email that they couldn't bind my coverage without a declaration from my previous insurance company which I told them I didn't have and asked for a full refund since they weren't going to issue my policy without it. I was told that my request was sent to accounting and if I had any questions regarding my refund to contact Denise. I sent an email to Denise that day and got no response. I waited a week and contacted Denise on 10/07/21 and CCd Melissa asking about my refund. Melissa said Denise went on vacation on 10/04/21 and wouldn't be back until 10/11/21 and she was the only there that could issue a refund. Melissa said she would make Denise aware to handle it immediately when she got back on 10/11/21. That was over 4 weeks ago and I have not received a refund or any correspondence from Denise regarding my refund.

Thank you D.J. ************ **************@ressi.com ************ ext.200 Consumer Response /* (2000, 12, 2021/12/16) */ (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.) In all the emails I received from Malissa ****** when I asked for a refund, she never confirmed that I would receive a refund. I just got excuses. When the refund check was finally mailed out on 10/15 weeks later, no one bothered to notify me and give me the tracking number. I did not hear anything from them until I left a Google review on 11/11/21. Then Malissa reached out to me to tell me it had been mailed out weeks ago and it was USPS fault I didn't get the check. Malissa verifies this with her response to this complaint. I'd still be waiting for my refund if I hadn't of left the Google review. That's when I got a phone call and text from the owner. It's sad when you have to make a complaint with a 3rd party before anything gets done. Which I waited to over a month to do. They received this complaint on BBB on 11/11 and were reminded twice and still hadn't responded on 12/07 almost a month later. Clearly communication and repsonsiveness isn't a priority with this company.
