Transaction Dates: May 12, 2022 & May 27, 2022 Total Amount Paid: $22,860.20 Service to be Provided: Off-grid Solar and Battery installation (Parts) Nature of Dispute & Attempts to Resolve: Sep 26, 2022 - We notified Un-Plugged RVs (UPRV) of our issue. We provided 2 potential means of handing the situation, (1) We would swing buy & pick up all the parts which we had bought (and which per George, the owner, were all received), or (2) Since supply issues were still a problem for him & prices had continued to rise, we would sell our parts back to him for a full-refund & he could make a profit selling the new unused parts to others. Oct 11 - We were informed via writing from George, the owner, Un-Plugged RV would be buying our parts & issuing us a check for the full value. Oct 25 - We confirmed with UPRV owner, we could pick-up our check at his shop on October 29th, 2022. Oct 28 - Owner calls & informs us he doesn't have the parts or the check. Asks for 1 week delay. Nov 3 - Email from UPRV that despite the extra week no refund available, Nov 4 - Drove 2 hours to UPRV shop to discuss and resolve. No one present. No work going on. Sent email and demanded our refund by Nov 8. Nov 7 - Email from UPRV owner with image of a $23,000 payment made to UPRV States as soon as money clears, we will have a cashier's check. Nov 8 - UPRV owner sends email to us stating their bank says the funds will be released the next day. Nov 9 - UPRV owner sends email stating that the bank is taking 2 extra days. We agree to Nov 14 for refund receipt. Nov 14 - UPRV owner send email with tracking receipt information. Upon checking,**** system shows label made but no package drop off or pick up. Nov 15 - UPRV owner responds he's headed to**** Nov 17 -**** arrives w/ Cashier's check for less than 1/2 amount owed. Check NOT cashed. Email sent demanding full payment. UPRV owner asks to wire rest of money. Wiring instructions provided in writing. No funds received. Nov 18 - No funds received
