      The owner of 30A Fence was terminated after he failed to show up to complete the work on multiple occasions. In addition, he damaged the neighbors irrigation system and installed fence posts on the neighbors property. He claimed that he moved them but they were still on the neighbors property after he made that claim. He failed to secure the posts properly with cement as well as set them to the required depth to hold a wooden fence. Finally, he communicated that a six foot wooden fence could be installed on top of a retaining wall and all advisors/fence companies claim it cannot be done. His cost for doing the work was only a fraction of the $10,000 deposit but he refuses to communicate or negotiate a fair settlement and as of this date he has not returned any of the $10,000. I am having to pay to correct the damage he did on the property so I am out of pocket additional money on top of the $10,000.

      On 2/24/23 we placed a deposit for a bunk bed. See attached invoice which was paid. We were told originally it would take 4-6 weeks as listed in invoice. After this time frame they explained they were waiting on parts. In April those parts were received and we were told they would ship the product in 1-2 days. This never happened. We have yet to receive any product. The company avoids returning calls. I was able to find the wife of the owner via Facebook as I believed maybe something bad had happened. She was able to get her husband in contact with us. However after another month waiting nothing shipped. We told him we wanted to cancel the order and get our $$ back. He said he would return our $ eventually. I told him I was going to report him BBB and he gave us 50% back and nothing else. This was weeks ago, and he has stopped communication again. We are thinking he is a fraudulent company. We would love your assistance.

      This customer was offered a full refund several weeks into the ordering process and prior to our company approving the order of expensive and custom bed components from other third party vendors. These parts would only fit this particular product and cost several thousand dollars. The Customer declined our offer of a full refund and requested to continue the process of waiting, despite the fact that we explicitly warned of large delays in the supply chain. The Customer decided to move forward knowing the challenges that lay ahead. After the Customer officially cancelled their order, our company provided a refund in the amount the original deposit less the cost of these custom parts that cannot be restocked or returned. After the cancellation was completed and the refund was paid, the Customer came back and made another offer to take the custom parts upon which we declined their offer at that point. Unfortunately, with Custom Product fabrication, Customers who cancel well after a reasonable period run the risk of losing a portion of their original deposit because these custom components cannot be easily resold or are well beyond the limits for returns or restocking.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      This is theft of my money & fraud.

      I purchased the bunkbed on 2/24/23 as listed with the receipt of purchase, and the bunkbed was to be completed in 4-6 weeks as stated on the invoice.

      On 4/10 Jason ******* (owner of the company) informed me that the rail fabrication could take up to 3 additional weeks.  I asked if he thought it could be completed in 3 weeks and he said he believed so.  See the attachment with text message communication.

      On 5/3 he said the rails and ladder were done. See attachment of text message communication

      On 5/5 he said they were doing the test fit of the rails and ladder that day and would ship out shortly.  See attachment with communication 

      On 5/12 I inquired where they were on sending out our bunkbed.  He wrote they were still working on it and would send out early next week (See the communication). Early the following week would be Monday, 5/15 or Tuesday 5/16.  He never sent the bed or communicated to us.

      After this week Jason stopped answering my texts and emails. He only responded weeks later after we called from a different number which he answered on the first ring.  We waited an additional 10 weeks from the 5/15-5/16 date that he said the bed would ship.  At this point we realized Jason was never going to complete this project and had stollen our $ and lied continuously.

      He told us he would eventually pay us back when he got the $.  We offered to have him send the rail and ladder for some of the $ we had given him and he refused.

      Jason paid back $2,128.49, when we told him we would be reporting him.  He still owes us $2000.00.  He said he would pay this back when he had the $ but now is stating he will not be paying us back.  

      This is theft and Jason owes us our $.  We have received nothing but lies from him.

      *******e asked for a refund because the job was taking longer then she expected she was given the opportunity from the beginning to receive her full refund before work was done on her order as we disclosed the welding of custom ladders and railing would take longer due to supply and demand issues. She said she was ok with waiting. Once her railings were done we had moved on to other jobs in the que and her job was placed in the back of the line. She then asked for a refund of her deposit at this time the deposit was already spent on the material, build of the bunk, ladder and railing which she received pictures of. We told her that we would refund her but we no longer had the money bc the bunk was already made. We have refunded her $2000 and still owe her another $2000 which we still plan to reimbursing her. Unfortunately the situation is we are now coming out of pocket to repay her bc the bunk is fully made. We also were unable to resell her custom bunk so we are stuck with it and lost money. We are having financial difficulties and do not have $2000 right now to pay her but we do plan on paying her back. She continued to harass us even with this information so we had to block her but have every intention of paying her back.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      1.  Because I have no bunkbed.  If Jason ******* did not lie and steal our $ we would have been sent a bunk bed on 5/16 or 5/17 as stated in his communication in my previous letter.

      2.  We cancelled our order 10 weeks after this date.  

      3.  We offered Jason to send up the rail and ladder for the additional $2000 he owes us and he has refused.  If he didn't have our $ to repay us, why couldn't he send us this - then he wouldn't have to pay us back???  The ladder and rail was worth less the the $2000.  Many of his bunkbeds on his website have wood rails and ladders which he could put on the bunk bed if it was truly unsold and done.  We believe this is because he either never had these pieces or already sold them.  

      4.  In his last letter he said he wouldn't be paying us back which is theft, now he says he may eventually pay us back.  His eventually has proven to be never.  We need our $ back as this is theft.

      I had spoken with Jason the owner about a fence for our back yard. After the closing and final walk through the yard is too small to have a fence. We have communicated via text which I’ve attached and are time stamped. Jason agreed to give us the money back and now has completely stopped responding. All we would like is our refund. He was paid in full August 24, 2022 and cashed the check the same day.

      I have complete phone call dates, emails and text which started back in March 2022. As stated before I (Michael ****** of ****** ******** ********* **** am a Partner/ investor of **** **** ****** in New Brockton Al. We hired and paid The 30a Fence Company/The 30a Woodshop to build us one of many needed 12x26 cabin which they advertise via Facebook, There websites ([email protected] , https://myfence.mysalesman.com) (https://www.the30awoodshop.com) that is run by Jason ******* and his partner we believe Jason ***** ******. He checked out from several folks that used him but took the $9000 and delivered nothing and the last text he answered to me was on 6/3/22 5:25am. I have complete email and text stored to myself and **** **** has the funds transaction to there acct from Citizens Bank Enterprise AL. To this date 8/15/22 we have tried and failed to get a hold of either one of them and have not received a call , email nor texted. There web sites and Facebook sites are still up. I personally have a place in Panama City Beach Fl and drove over to Santa Rosa Bch on 8/1/22 to there address listed as there location and it is false. I have done farther research and believe Jason ****** and Jason ******* are involved in ********* ********** of Santa Rosa Beach aswell. Hope we can get this resolved asap. Thanks, Michael ******

      If this company owned an ran by Jason ******* contacts you from there FaceBook ad please be aware The 30A Fence Co / The 30A woodshop Co is not a legit company.

      The addresses on there website are 100% false, I have personally drove there to confront them for not doing what they were paid to do. He will not return your call once time has passed on him putting you on that everyhing is on schedule.
      I did check with other folks that said they used him for jobs and done a great job but almost certian those were bogus FB people.
      I even pulled his Florida buisness info which is on file with all the correct legal info. Hope Florida pulls them off there site as legit co.
      Feel free to call me if you have question on them cause I did all my homework prior to using them and stilled got burned.
