Climatic Conditioning Co. replaced 2 complete HVAC systems for us, on Feb. 09, 2021, at the cost of $14,412.90, including 10 year warranty on Parts, and 3 year warranty on labor. On Aug. 13, 2022, the main (5 ton) unit compressor failed. This unit cools the Living area and three Bedrooms. Mon. morning, Aug 15th., we spoke with their service dept, said they would check if they had a compressor. Mon. afternoon, we called again, was told they would have to order a compressor, would take two more days shipping, didn't know if they could get someone to install the compressor the next day, after they receive it. Hard to believe an AC company does not keep emergency parts in stock during Florida's hot summers! This is not good business practice. Our house & property is actively listed for sale. We cannot show the house without the AC working. We want Climatic Conditioning Co to provide updates on the shipment of the Compressor, and make sure an installer will be assigned to complete the repair when they receive it. Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/08/19) */ Upon receipt of this complaint, our Service Manager contacted the customer to explain that compressors are an extremely expensive replacement component and there are so many different types of compressors by manufacturer/model that HVAC companies do not stock them and order them as necessary. Under normal times, one likely would have been available locally same day, but under the current conditions with supply chain issues affecting all industries we were given a 2-3 day lead time. We did receive and install the replacement compressor on Thursday, 8/18 and the customer is now cooling again. We very much appreciate our customer's business and their understanding after we explained the situation.
