      I purchased cabinets from Cabinets To Go in August 2022. The installer was unfamiliar with the cabinets so the installation has been incomplete. I have contacted them numerous times via emails and phone calls to get this resolved. I'm still waiting on a defective cabinet door and another cabinet door has been warped. They have been paid in full but have yet to resolve any of my issues. They are forcing me to take legal action to get these issues resolved. All documents can be provided upon request.

      Per our phone conversation today February 22, 2023, I have not received any correspondence from Cabinets To Go since January 30. 2023.  I would like to have my complaint with Cabinets To Go opened until I get my issues resolved.

      I am rejecting this response because:  The work is not completed as of today.  I did received a phone call from the installer today 3/3/2023, but he is the same installer who wasn't familiar with the cabinets and his workmanship shows it with all the defects in my kitchen.  I've been asking for an installer that is familiar with my cabinets and can correct all my issues that I've been dealing with since August of 2022. Why is it taking so long to get an installer that knows what he is doing?

      3/14/2021, I meet with a Cabinet to Go designer, I had my kitchen room measurements. They designed kitchen and cabinets. The cost was to be $9,200.65. The designer used my correct measurements and inaccurately designed my kitchen lay out. When cabinets came, the designer measurements where incorrect, causing me to downsize 2 cabinets, cut my front door molding in order to make the replacement cabinet fit, and left me with a 6" gap between cabinets top and bottom. I had to buy additional material in order to cover wasted space. I was charged restocking fees for cabinets that didn't fit. The replacement cabinets didn't arrive till Nov 2021. My kitchen was torn apart for 8 months. When having problems with the pantry draws not fitting correctly the manager admitted they were having problems with that, yet they still sold me the defected product. He asked how he could make it better and we talked it over. He said he would get back to me. He never did, in fact he never returned any of my calls. After a week I was able to get him on the phone he said over and over there is nothing he would do and if we had used their contractors this wouldn't have been a problem and that I signed the paperwork and I would have to take it too Corporate. There was no attempt to resolve the problem and no customer service. When my contractor talked to corporate, they said we needed to deal with the store. I will never recommend the store to anyone. Because of Cabinets to Go inaccurate design my additional cost are as follows: Filler - $112.00 Pantry drawers 315.00 Restocking fees of incorrect cabinets 97.00 Drive time both ways X 5 approx. 225.00 Time and frustration and a loss of cabinet space as well as additional contractor time which I believe has costed me around $750.00 Total: $1, 449.00 As a consumer (lay person) I have to trust Cabinets to Go (professionals) designs are accurate. They were not and this was no fault of my own, and has cost me additional money and time

      Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/12/13) */ Our terms and conditions state the customer is responsible for verifying the cabinets on the order are correct as well as approving the design.If items were incorrect the customer would have to pay a restock fee per the terms and conditions signed at the point of sale. Additionally, the last items the customer ordered were shipped to the store for pickup in July, not November. Consumer Response /* (3000, 11, 2022/01/04) */ I am very disappointed with Cabinets to go. I provided the correct measurements for the kitchen and they incorrectly designed it. As for the last part of their response that the cabinets were there in July is incorrect. Thats when they were supposed to be there. One arrived at their store in Sept. 2121 and the other not till Nov. 2121. Business Response /* (4000, 13, 2022/01/05) */ The window measurements provided by the customer were off, our terms and conditions state we don't guarantee measurements and the customer is responsible for approval of final design. "If items were incorrect the customer would have to pay a restock fee per the terms and conditions signed at the point of sale." If the cabinets were incorrectly designed and ordered by your company why would the customer have to pay the restock fee for your mistake. You are supposed to be the professionals. The customer is a layman. How would we know the cabinets are incorrect before attempting to install them? also, the measurements provided were accurate.
