This company owes me over $4000 for work they did not complete on my master bath. Tony ***** put me through so much anguish! My husband had to finish walls including molding and painting, complete electrical work, fix the plumbing that was one incorrectly. He sent someone to my home to do electrical who was not an electrician. He put metal electrical components in my wall! If my husband had not been an electrician previously walls would have been closed jeopardizing my home for fire. He never provided a vanity which he charged me close to $3000 for. I signed a contract with him and his contractor but I gave him all the money and he did not provide vanity, glass door, finishing project.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/03/07) */ ***** *****'s contract agreement is with Mora & Ortiz General Contractor, LLC, it's not with Lifestyles Kitchen and Bath This can be verified by checking permit records in city of Venice. This is a bathroom remodel which must be done by a licensed contractor. Lifestyles doesn't do any work requiring a permit so this complaint is filed against the wrong company. Please check the agreement and permit records to correct any complaint against Lifestyle's Kitchen and Bath. My involvement was that of a Salesman for Mora & Ortiz General Contractors, Inc. The contract is with Lifestyles. Because Mr. Asfur can not legally get a permit he had to partner with Mr. Ortiz. I have text messages and the contract to support this. I wrote checks to Lifestyles. Mr. Asfur was supposed to provide a vanity and shower glass door which he charged me for but did not deliver. He made another contract for the shower door stating the funds would not be owed from the homeowner at the end of the renovation after the walk through which he did not complete. He stopped responding to me. The only time Mora and Ortiz was involved was for the permit and also when Mr Asfur could not get a team to texture the walls and ceiling. The job I contracted with Lifestyles was not completed. My husband had to finish the job. At no time did Mr Asfur represent himself as a salesman for Ortiz. His company was to complete the job, not Mr Ortiz. Again, Mr Ortiz was involved to get the permits. Mr Asfur is not an honest person. He owes me money. The subcontractors will also attest to this. I can have Mr Ortiz attest to this as well. Mr Asfur is not being truthful and he owes me the money.
