My mother passed 4/2/2022 & was cremated. I had to wait until June (I retired) to move to TN.; then travel to FL & get her Ashes. The family wanted a wall, then changed their mind. 7/11 - ordered Niche for $4,680.00 - pd with my Visa Debit Card; Transaction #XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXMXLW (Chase Bank) 7/12 - Less than 30 hours, I called & left a voice mail Cancelling the service. 7/12 - Sent a rather panicky email stating the family now want to scatter her Ashes; this can't be the first time a family is under duress 7/13 - Mike called & acknowledged my call & email. Stated he had to call the home office which is Faithful Heritage Holdings Inc in Gainesville, FL. 7/14 - called again & he returned my call twice; 1) to tell me he is waiting for an answer, 2) to come in & get a letter stating that I was cancelling & no longer wanted wished to proceed with services....which I did & now have. I am due a refund. 7/18, 7/19, 7/22 - I called; no return calls 7/25 - called Faithful Heritage Holdings Inc in Gainesville, FL. Told a Samantha about my situation & would someone call me back. 7/25 - late afternoon, received call that because I bought 'At Need' I am due no refund. I kept asking Ruth to point to where in contract, I have it in my hands. Said since it is 'At Need' it's done. When I said it was less than 30 hours that I cancelled; she said I could sell it. I then got off the phone after telling her someone will be in touch. 7/26 - filed a complaint with the Board of Funerals in Tallahassee, FL. Included all pertinent information. (I have nothing to complain about them) 7/28, 7/29, - called because hadn't received any documents; an investigator (?) has it 8/4 - called the person at the Board & she was on vacation 8/8 - panicking now because it is coming up on 30 days - see attachments. I just want help.
