Company is requesting payment for unfinished and incorrect work. We ordered a White ********* custom design closet with 7 RAISED PANEL FACES. One plain panel face was installed to cover the requested drawer ironing board. NEVER was there a discussion that this panel would be different from the rest! They now insist a raised panel door is not available for this and are requesting an additional $172.00 to put a matching drawer in place of the ironing board. They had to cut out a piece of the backboard in order to get a proper fit.There are also drawers which do not close properly. The owner, *****, has lied to me regarding scheduling of installation and overall is not a very nice person.Business response

Hello,
We have attached an email correspondence with this customer showing that we are replacing the ironing board with a drawer at no cost to the customer on May 9th before this was even submitted. Yes we cut out a piece of wood that we put in so that the fit and finish would be better. This is very common in custom cabinetry as not all walls are plum and not all floors are level. She has never mentioned to anyone that any drawers are not working properly. We give every customer a *********************************************************************************************************************** that it has been brought to our attention. We never lied to ***************. She schedule a date to go out and finish her project and when that day came the employee that was going to be doing the installation called and told me he had a family emergency that he needed to attend. So I let *************** know that we would not be coming out there that day and we will have to reschedule. Unbeknownst to me that employee stopped by her house on his way out of town to grab something that he left behind from the last time he was there. I did not know this until *************** made me aware of that later in the day. Again that is something completely out of our control so I am a little confused on why she is saying that we lied to her. The last time we were out there was Dec 8th 2023. She has still not paid her final balance of $7221.17 and is just now making a compliant which is also confusing to me.

I am rejecting this response because:On 5/17/24,Closet Tech has offered to replace the part and complete the work however, as of today,5/30/24, nothing has been done. Please keep this file open.

We had to wait on both our vendors to receive the materials (drawer box and face) to install their last drawer. We just got it shipped to us this morning so I had our office reach out via email to set up when we can install that for them.
