After yrs of dealing with this company and for yrs I have asked them to "lock" my credit card and they always have...... except for right now. And I even asked did y'all recently change the rules and he said no we've never been able to do that. Even when I explained that for yrs y'all have been doing this because I get emails saying I owe for the service and all I have to do is call in and say go ahead and charge my card on file. I paid $60.00 USD that is over $80.00 CDN to have the card express graded. On the comc webpage it said 3 day express grading it has now been 19 days still no card back. I graded the card and used the express grade for the sole reason to get the card out fast while it was still hot. This has not happened the product has now sold out and there are multiples of the card available while I have still not received my card back. I feel the express option is a money grab this being my first time ever grading something it is most definitely not what I was expecting at all. I have sent them a direct message with hopes they will refund me for the express. Have now tried reaching out to them multiple times and no one will get back. Sent a a message on Facebook messenger and have been blown off for 2 days now. All they said is someone who is able to help will get back when they can. I 100% do not recommend using this company in any capacity. The customer service is a joke they are rude they ignore you. From the reviews this company has received I doubt they will stick around long haul so use your money and grade your items with a professional company that actually cares how its customers feel. I will never use them again lol completely a waste of money they are not transparent at all pay to express 3 day grade an item and here we are weeks late still no card back and I can’t even get an answer from a customer service representative haha that will be the last money you ever received from me for anything I 100% regret even sending my card to them. It’s clear to see they do not care about there customers at all. Almost every review this company has is a very bad review and no customer service representatives have even responded to any of these reviews to try and make the customers happy

Thieves ... don't grade with these people. I never do yelp reviews but I want to let people know to not get fooled by this company... FALSE advertisement written all over them Turn around time" changes" soon as my cards are " received " from ***** to ***** or something ya cool they credited my account but make sure you look at your receipts because they don't match with prices they claim..As this order ^ is still in limbo I send another card as "express" supposed to be guaranteed 3 day turn around time it's now almost two weeks and no one knows what they f is going on 3 days calling back n forth and they tell me it's a "billing" issue but no attempts to charge my credit card is there.Then I ask to verify pricing and they are telling me a who different price of what's on my packing slip/ receipt and tell me I'm basically lying because it's been their pricing for years .. my packing slip clearly say 45 dollars not 50 that they are claiming and get this I'm a paying member that pays every year. They don't treat members right at all stay away and just grade with psa I feel like they are making me wait because this " express " submission is delayed because most of they payment is from store credit from the first " error " submission because all the sudden the first delayed is scheduled to be graded a little earlier that was stated to me. And no one has told me how they will fix this for me .. horrible service and clearly false advertisement. I swear my cards better not become missing I'm already losing money from my paying customers and they aren't happy at all! After reading reviews I feel like my cards are lost and now I need to reimburse my customers.. and I cannot afford that. This is crazyReview from Steven W

For a company that originated the grading market, they've went downhill. I had a membership for 3 years and finally cancelled it after numerous issues. They've damaged books and then still charged me only for them to put an unacceptable grade on them, and the last time I submitted books to be graded, it took 10 MONTHS to get them back. No reason for it to take longer than 90 days, at most. I'll take my business elsewhere in the future, and advise others to avoid CGC at all cost. If they don't make the necessary changes to meet customer expectations, then they deserve to out of business.Review from Alexander T

A sports card I sold on eBay was sent to this company to be authenticated through a program eBay has. But the company apparently damaged the card and then claimed my description wasn't accurate. I take great pains to be accurate with my descriptions. There wasn't any extra creases when I sent it to the authenticator. I look at the card carefully. You could see from the original photos that there were no signs of creases at the bottom. CGC does not have a good reputation. There are numerous complaints on the BBB website, among others. I've been selling on eBay since 2009 and have sold more than 2,000 items. I have a 100 percent positive feedback rate with 1,075 customers. You can't do that by not taking this seriously. I've never had an item returned like this before from an authenticator. I plan to do more with Etsy and Amazon in the future if this is the way eBay is going.Review from Peter Y

Sent my comic books to be graded and they were Mint/Near Mint Condition, when it came back, they banged up the corner on the book and gave it a low grade! Ive been submitting books to be graded for awhile and would never submit a book that has a banged up corner/creases/or defects. This was made by CGC and they are not handling the books correctly or training their employees how to handle collectibles! Avoid !!Review from Omar G

I’m still waiting for somebody to give me a call I’ve been trying to pay my submissions for four days now I’ve called them at least six times. They told me that my account was sent to collections for my books which is ready last month. The collection agency said they must’ve made a mistake because your account is not here, they told me this once I gave them my credit card information that I never gave to Cgc Cgc never had a card number they took the car number from the collection agency and they charged my account. They wouldn’t take the payment for me but they took it from the collection agency. I don’t like the way this is being conducted. I need to find out about the rest of the books that I have that are already pay for their error books that belong to me, and that I own so now I’m either the collection agency has my account which they can take payment and Cgc won’t let me pay them because they see that my account is with the collection agency so now who’s going to take my payment if neither wants to take it the proper way the transaction they did was CCS I never gave them the car number for them to run it. I gave it to the collection agency I don’t know why I haven’t received any type of phone call from anybody, this is so wrong and it just doesn’t seem like anybody’s doing anything about itReview from Harold Grundy

I have spent money with CGC to have comics graded for sale. I mailed my items in February 2022 I have been waiting since I have talked to a representative from CGC that just gives you the runaround. The books in question were of some value and I am concerned that they are being manipulated by CGC for there own gain. This is very disappointing as CGC represents the standard for comics grading. I am quite concerned that I have been scammed and they are trying to walk away with my merchandise or hoping that I will just give up and go away. I have collected for years and now I want to reap my benefits not be taken advantage of and someone else profit from my efforts. This is so wrong, need help.
