On 2-1-22 I met with Gardner & Thomas CPAs, we agreed that they would take over my business accounting, book-keeping, payroll and personal and business tax prep. They advised me they would let me know what the monthly fee is once they figure it out exactly. On 2-23-22 I received notification by text that ADP was set up and ready to process payroll, this was started on 2-25-22. On 4-10-22 I found a journal entry called owner distribution in the amount of $2477.67 created by Gardner & Thomas, I have been unable to obtain an explanation for this. On 5-7-22 my employee received a paycheck for $79.97, the paycheck should have been for $654.27. The following week my employee received the correct paycheck via direct deposit twice. On 5-27-22 I received *** notification that Gardner& Thomas failed to file/pay the 941 for Q1 22. On 6-1-22 Thomas and Gardner advised me to ask the employee to write a personal check to return the duplicate paycheck. On 6-10-22 I paid the taxes to the *** for missing 941 for Q1 '22. On 6-14-22 Gardner & Thomas notified me after they had already applied to use my personal one-time penalty abatement with the ***.On 6-15-22 I notified Gardner & Thomas by email and text that their services were no longer needed for bookkeeping or payroll. During the process of getting set up to do my own payroll I discovered that Gardner & Thomas had added themselves as a **** employee on my payroll, without my knowledge or permission. On 1-18-23 I received incorrect W2s for all the employees. On 2-6-23 I called ADP regarding the incorrect W2, was told I have no access as per Gardner & Thomas instructions. On 2-9-23 I picked up my paperwork to file the personal '21 taxes as ********************************************* have ignored multiple requests to have these completed. Filed with my K1, was the personal and private financial data of a different person. I found in my corporate filing an entry for $1609 for a distribution. I have not received a distribution in this amount.
