****** *********************, Owner and Managing Agent of Caliber Concept Painting, LLC, bid on our house renovation at **************************************************************************************Total Renovation cost $24,472.14 His bid was accepted and the contract was executed August 2, 2023.The completion date was September 1, 2023 By August 5, 2023 a total of $8,547.15 was paid which including $5,5547.15 in materials and $5220.00 in prepaid labor.October 23, 2023 an unforeseen floor expenditures (non contracted) additional $4,516.69 was paid. $2500 for labor and $2016.69 for materials.Total paid to *********************** $15,283.94 Total materials; $7563.94 contracted materials $5547.15 and non-contracted materials $2016.79.Total Labor: $7720.00 As of December 1st, less than 10% of the project was complete. Im requesting $100% of the contracted materials (be delivered to me or reimbursement for the cost of $5547.15 Additionally, I requesting 50% of the $7720 prepaid labor be returned $3860. This complaint is frivolous and inaccurate. ****************** was given services in attempt to repair her project . Which was determined and recognized after multiple attempts to patch and band aid to be beyond repair and needed to be completely leveled and demolished. The structure is severely affected by dry rot throughout its entirety. As the wood structure is over 80 years old. And not built correctly to begin . Every attempt revealed unsuspected underlining issues that were more extensive then the quoted and intended repair, and or remodel of said project. Labor was granted on a few of the unsuspected issues without contract revision , and at request through verbal agreement with customer . These labors surpassed quoted labor of original contract. Therefore it has been determined after multiple attempts by myself , and other contractors who assisted me in attempting to repair this project to be unsafe and beyond repair.Customer response
