I went to this location on Aug 29 for a oil change and rear brakes. The car was finished on September 9. I went to pick up my Audi R8 and drove home. It's a **************************************************************** my garage. I noticed the side skirt was missing. I immediately took the car back to Sarasota Audi dealership . After arriving to the dealership i spoke to **** and **** the parts manager. They both said that after reviewing the cameras when i first dropped the R8 off for service on the **************************** fact did have both side skirts on. They both said that they will take care of the damage/missing side skirt because i clearly came in with them on. They said to go ahead and take the R8 home and email them a link to the side skirts for purchase. I offered to buy it and then they can reimburse me after. Everything was agreed on. I email the link to my side skirts the next day on the 10th. I receive a call from **** the parts manager 3 days later stating that after further camera investigation they can not see where or how the side skirt went missing. He said that within the 10 minutes of me driving the car home it fell off. I want to know where my side skirt is as i know it did not fall off on the road because i would have ran it over. After i let him finish his story of detective work, i mentioned i had a video of my R8 while parked on your lot before i even took the R8 home and the side skirt was already missing. Thank god i took that video because you can clearly see the side skirt it not there before picking up the car and driving it home. How can you agree to do what's right and then receive the link to the part, see how expensive it was and now offer to pay half of it? I will not pay one dollar for damages or missing parts. Please save or download the videos onto your computer or device to view them in better quality. I have more media if you need them. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/gtaxyohkve88zqt/AACJqaV43pqmefBzIMDVaEl5a?dl=0

We purchased a new 2018 audi A5 premium plus cabriolet 2D from audi of sarasota. On July 27 we were given a inspection form, after a recall service, that stated that all tires should be replaced.at a price of $310 per tire. Under normal circumstances this might be considered; however, the car only had 13087 miles on it. What kind of tires wear out with only 13087 miles on it? The question here is; Why does the dealer put ultra cheap tires on a $50000 vehicle? And then say it needs $310 tires after 13000 miles. We believe that this is a safety issue as well as a management issue. We believe that the placement of dangerous tires was a directed decision. We further believe that a recall should be made for this model with hankook tires. The NHTSA should be informed. Audi should reimburse us for the cost of new tires.

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/08/18) */ We are sorry to hear that Mr. ******** was not pleased with the recent service department visit and is concerned about the tires on the vehicle. The tires are the original tires that were installed at the factory; Audi Sarasota did not install these tires as Mr. ******** stated. The tires are summer tires that have a better grip and a softer composition than all season tires, which makes them wear faster. Following the recommendations set by Audi of America, Audi Sarasota also recommended new tires and an alignment which Mr. ******** declined. Mr. ******** may reach out to our Audi Brand Service Manager, Paul P***, at his convenience to further discuss this issue. He can be reached at XXX-XXX-XXXX. Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2022/08/19) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) This reply would indicate that all the A5 cars sold by audi would have Summer tires. We have had 4 audis with our present Q5 bought in Sarasota with mud and snow tires. Why didnt the Q5 have Summer tires? Why were we not told that these tires would wear out in 13000 miles so we could have requested longer wearing tires? Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2022/08/22) */ As previously stated, Mr. ******** may reach out to our Audi Brand Service Manager, Paul P***, at his convenience to further discuss this issue. He can be reached at XXX-XXX-XXXX. Consumer Response /* (4200, 11, 2022/08/23) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) dealer has passed the problem on to the audi brand manager paul p***. this would be the next step before going to audi corporate hq.
