            Thank you in advance for your help. This is *****'s son filing the complaint on her behalf (***** **** XXX-XXX-XXXX) The rear bumper cover of her new S60 Volvo became dislodged and she took the car to Volvo of Sarasota. on 4/29. They charged her $505.58 on 5/9 to put the bumper cover back on. I am not disputing their claim that it was caused by some sort of impact from underneath the car, but I am completely astonished by how they took so much money from my 85 year old mother. When I arrived in Sarasota to drive her home on 5/29, the bumper cover was dislodged. We drove the car back to West Hartford, CT and took the car to the dealership locally and they could not see what was done to fix the bumper (I.E. no new clips were used and it was not glued). My son popped it back in place and it came dislodged again in a day. I am guessing they just popped it in place and charged her $505.58. I understand that there is a service charge but charging $505.58 to temporarily "fix" it is definitely taking advantage of a senior citizen. I am going to have the car properly fixed in West Hartford so I need the dealership to refund at a minimum most of the $505.58.             My original Volvo salesman was perfect. However the issue started when I attempted to pay off my lease. From the very beginning of the pay off process I made it very clear when talking to finance consultant, Shannon ****** that I wanted to pay off my XC60 entirely, and receive a title as quickly as possible. First, she emailed me the payoff (WRONG- she did not include tax). Thank goodness my salesperson confirmed the correct amount. Per Shannon's advice, I brought in a certified cashiers check to pay off the lease in full. WRONG. (Should have wired it.) I was told the title would be mailed to me in 2 weeks. WRONG. (6-8 weeks actually.) Shannon also informed me upon my buy out that I had to pay a $199 inspection- for what?? I'm buying the vehicle, who got that inspection report? (Is this a way to get more money from clients?). We called Volvo Financial and found that we never even needed to go through the dealership for the buy out. Shannon gave me incorrect information, misguided me through the transaction and caused me to lose the sale of my vehicle. Rusty ****** her manager, was unconcerned with the treatment I received and was much more interested in informing me of the state of Florida transfer process (ad nauseam) Perhaps, Rusty needs to inform Shannon of this process so the next person doesn't have to write this kind of shameful review.

            New customers need to be aware of this, it is a very real issue I experienced.
