This website is operating an Online Purchase Scam. Consumers have submitted multiple BBB Scam Tracker entries about Legendary Gunshop detailing its suspect conduct. Legendary Gunshop has a pattern of issues concerning the request of alternative methods of payment like Bitcoin, Venmo & Zelle and not delivering the promised product once payment is made. Per information in our files, BBB does not believe that Legendary Gunshop is an actual business: The business name is not registered with the State of Florida Division of Corporations. The website was created on 6/26/2020 and no ownership information is available. There is no address for this business, other than "Sarasota, FL" The email address for this business has been returned undeliverable. BBB has received the following Scam Tracker Reports on this business. "DO NOT BUY from Legendary Gunshop's website. It is a total scam. They use a fake street address, a proxy phone number, and only want non-protected forms of payment. They pretend to offer many types of firearms at discount prices. When you are ready to make a purchase, your only payment options are Bitcoin, Zelle, or other direct payment apps. No credit card options. After making a "purchase", you will receive an e-mail stating that your order will be processed after money has been received. Immediately, you will receive a text message with urgent instructions to send money (Bitcoin, Zelle, etc) to an arbitrary person, like "Jon Marshall." They will be quick to respond via text, but will never speak to you in person. If you're tricked into sending real money, they will end communications or continue lying to get more money out of you. You will never receive your product, and it's unlikely you'll be reimbursed for the scam (hence their preference for non-protected forms of payment). Stay away from Legendary Gunshop at all costs. I was scammed by Peacemaker Gunshop, and these guys run the exact same formula." "These people say they sell guns. They only accept non refundable payment like zelle. It took multiple zelle emails to complete order. Then you get info from a shipping company. Not only do they not ask for a legit gun broker to ship to they say they're shipping straight to you. The shipping company that's on your fraud list asking for shipping insurance money to send your product. Then all of a sudden they don't answer your message inquiry about the situation." "DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY!!! THEY ARE SCAMMERS! We got scammed out of $900! This company requires you to pay for your purchase using the Venmo App (my son did not know he should not use that method of payment for online purchases. They will take your money then delete their profile. Lesson learned!). This company will absolutely take your money and run! They have a computer generated phone number and will not answer their phone. You do have the option to chat with them. Someone will come on but as soon as you mention that you want a refund, they will completely ignore you. Once you place your order, they will send you a fake tracking number. It will say it's been shipped and You can 'track' your package. A few days before your package is due to 'arrive', you will get a text from a shipping company called Fiinex (oh, also a SCAM!). Fiinex is going to demand that you send them $599 for shipping insurance. If you refuse to pay the $599, they threaten to cancel your order. (Not that there was anything that was actually going to arrive anyway!). We texted back and forth with this Fiinex person, they were extremely rude and unprofessional. This was the first clue that my son had been scammed, was after he received the text message from Fiinex. Oh, Fiinex also has a computer generated number. Then My phone rang and a California number pops up. I answered it and it was someone speaking very broken English with a Spanish accent. He asked me why I called him. I told him he called me. I explained that I am the one he is texting with. Again, was extremely rude and demanded money. I could hear kids and dogs in the background. This was not a business, this was a private person, a SCAMMER. Venmo can not reverse the payment and my son is out $900. DO NOT,..I REPEAT...DO NOT ORDER FROM LEGENDARY GUNSHOP IN SARASOTA FLORIDA!!"
