I found Louis through Angi's and should have known right from the start how terrible this service would be. I asked him several times for much services worse cost and he could never give me a price. Since we've never owned a pool before, we did not know how to maintain a pool with chemicals, etc. Louis recommended an acid treatment to TRY and clean up minor stains on the bottom. After a month, the pool was still cloudy and had bubbles floating in the entire top of the pool. He came out every week adding more chemicals and promising to have it clear but nice did have my pool cleared. He told us he quotient charge anything until he had it cleared, which he never did. I contacted a reputable pool company to all their opinion and was told it should NEVER take more than a couple days to clear a pool after treatment, so we hired them Within 24 hours the pool was clear from bubbles and we were FINALLY able to swing in our pool. Louis sent us a bill for over$1100 in ridiculous pricing and fees. When I told him we would not pay for some things he charged, most of which we didn't even discuss or authorize, he snuck onto our property removing the filter and jet heads he had placed in our pool. He left filter top laying on the ground, panels open and ran off. I have never experienced such unprofessional behavior in my life. DO NOT HIRE Mineral Pool Care to service your pool, ever. He is dishonest and will only make your pool a disaster.
