On 7/5/24, I hired CeramicPro to apply ceramic window tint to my brand new $160K vehicle. When I returned to pick the vehicle up, the tint was not applied as instructed so they had to remove and reapply the same day. After picking the vehicle up and returning home, I noticed excessive amounts of water coming from the inside leather door panel seams on the drivers side. It was obvious they had applied too much slip solution likely due to re-tinting the same day. This caused the leather to excessively swell near the seams causing permanent damage (see pic). I notified CeramicPro the same day (7/5/24) and they suggested letting it set a couple days to see if the swelling goes down and if any lasting damage was caused they would definitely stand behind their work. On 7/8/24, I notified CeramicPro that although the swelling had come down a little you can still see the damage left behind. They suggested I bring it in for management to take a look. I brought it in on 7/19/24 and the manager (***) agreed there is definitely damage left behind. He would need a couple days to come up with a solution, either pay to have the panel replaced or compensate me for the panel cost. On 7/24/24, they informed me that they would only refund me the $260 it cost for the tint and would not cover the $1,900 leather door panel. When I objected, they asked that I bring the vehicle in again for the actual tint installer to look at the damage they created. On 7/31/24, I brought it in for another look. Management said they would be in touch. On 8/8/24, they informed me that they did not create any damage (a complete back-peddle from previous conversations) and would not provide anything beyond a $260 refund for the tint work and they would NOT cover the $1,900 leather door panel.Initial Complaint
