    If I could give this company 0 stars, I would. This company does not post any bad reviews. They only post the good ones that are 4 stars or higher. This is SUPER misleading when you sign up because you think it's a guaranteed fit. So I signed up for their starter pack and used the products for 30 days and had to replenish them after those 30 days since they claim your skin has to "purge" for 8 weeks and turn over so that old acne has a chance to surface. This means you have to waste about $200 before you can figure out if it works for you or not. Which is SUPER expensive!! And I would go as far to say it's fraudulent. My skin after using Averr Aglow had never been so bad in my life. I had to spend 45 minutes every day covering up the cystic acne this caused. I felt like I couldn't go anywhere and when I did, I had EXTREME social anxiety and insecurities. I know this sounds like I'm exaggerating, but I'm not!! I fell into a severe depression where I was honestly suicidal and schizophrenic. My psychiatrist had to put me on an anti-psychotic medication because I was that paranoid about everyone making fun of me behind my back because of my acne. After 9 weeks of trying these products, I had to frantically find a new skin care product to erase all the damage this one caused... I immediately switched to Cera Ve, which doesn't need your skin to "purge" before working. My acne started to clear right away, but the dark spots that Averr Aglow created took 2 months to go away. I no longer needed to be on anxiety medication or schizophrenia medication because all of my issues stemmed from the insecurities of going out with severe acne... This company RUINED my transition and mental health when I moved to a new city and tried making new friends.

    Thank you for the opportunity to provide clarification. We receive from 5 to 1 star reviews, and those are posted on our website. The vast majority of our reviews are 4 and 5 stars, that is why it may take scrolling, but the lower star reviews are there. A word you will not see on our website is "guarantee", because every individual skin is different. We would not make that claim. This customer made her purchase one year ago. In looking her name and email up in our customer service database, we do not have any correspondence from her in reaching out to our customer service team for help regarding how her skin was responding to the skincare. Our team is highly trained and educated on how to help guide customers in their use of our products, and also are able to help provide help in knowing if someone may be having an allergic reaction, or if their skin is adjusting and responding to their new skincare routine. We truly are sorry that this customer's experience with our skincare contributed to the emotional distress she was going through. We know that moving to a new city, and a new job is known to be a huge stress, and stress causes an overproduction of hormones that can send signals to the skin to create sebum (skin's naturally produced oil). This oil mixes with dead skin and acne-causing bacteria. If the body continues to produce these hormones, then this sebum continues to build up under the surface, leading to cystic acne. As we share several times on our site, our skincare addresses all 3 of those issues, while providing nutrients to replenish skin with. We are sorry that this customer did not reach out for guidance, as would have welcomed the opportunity to help her. We truly hope the best for her and her skin.

    Yes, I did make my purchase 1 year ago. And I thought I had posted on the BBB, but when I saw the pictures of my face again (from May of last year scrolling back through my phone), I went back to check... I have a screenshot from May 7th, 2021 of my review that I posted. I don't know how it is no longer on the BBB site. I can't find it anywhere.

    I don't understand how the time frame of when I bought the items is relevant here...

    I did NOT reach out to you (on this issue) because the Help Center (FAQs) page of your site CLEARLY says "These products can make you break out before you see clear skin... This process generally takes a few weeks, but great results are seen after this. This won't last forever and note these breakouts would have come up on their own time regardless. :)"
    It also says: "Cystic acne is the most advanced case of breakouts. There is a lot of inflammation under the skin and buildup. Some see results in the first week and, others can take between 30-60 days to see results."

    Why would I need to contact customer service? You clearly says it causes breakouts for those first few weeks, so that's what I expected... I thought it was all part of the process. You don't say, "if you experience severe breakouts, please reach out to a customer service rep."

    Moving to a new city would not have been stressful had I been able to go out and meet people. I did not start a new job. The new city is only 50 miles from my previous home, so it didn't have any significant changes on my skin as far as environment goes.

    Your skincare did not "contribute" to the emotional distress. It CAUSED it. Thanks for assuming that was my experience.

    On your comment above, you go into the process of how sebum works and how you have the solution with your skincare... Clearly your skincare did not work for me, so how is that relevant? This is even more dishonest considering I used every step of the Clear Skin Kit just as it was recommended. It does NOT replenish skin for some people or address all 3 of the issues you stated above.

    This is clearly a dismissal of responsibility. You're trying to push this on the "consumer" like they weren't following the instructions or recommendations. I followed every step with the thoughts that it would work after the 60 days. It clearly didn't, so I had to stop using the products.

    Considering I DID buy this product a year ago, I would expect to see my 1 star review on the site. I would also expect to see more than only 3 1 star reviews. There is no way that over the course of a year that I'm one of 4 with this terrible experience. There is another complaint on the BBB site from 4/20/2020 with the same experience I had. There's no way that within 2 years, only 3 people have posted a 1 star complaint. They say "I reached out to those individuals in separate messages (as to avoid the company kicking them off the group as was mentioned in another complaint on this site) and asked why they did not leave a review on the company's site. They said they did, it was just never published. I can supply those individuals' testimonies if necessary. These same individuals are now having to go to dermatologist to help fix their skin from these products"

    Your site, advertisements, review screening, and FAQs page are all misleading.
