I Had this solar system installed in 2018.I was promised no electric bill with 2 years, the system has not produced enough power to give a deficit. I have called the manager on several occasions and got the system is not sufficient for my house. Whose fault is that? They designed it. on several occasions they system did not work because it went offline. I have been paying for solar panel and high electric bills to the tune of average $350.00 and above, it was c heaper when I didn't have them. i have tried to call them several times but it goes to voice mail and I don't get a response. I tried to go to the portal, but they changed it without my knowledge, and I am at my **** end. I am asking for some mediation to solve the problems. It's no right that they promise you something and produce something else, yet I'm stuck paying for a service that is not working efficiently.Review from John D

Had a ~22kw solar system with 20kWh installed back in November '22, and it's now almost April '23 - the install was 48 panels. I noticed after installation that 16 of them weren't responding, I let Coronado know, and they were back out within days to correct it. Zero issues since! ***** was my primary contact, and she did a fantastic job with responses to any and all questions/concerns I had (such as... why aren't these panels responding?).Going into this project, I had very clear goals - in a Hurricane ****** situation, I want the ability to ensure I can keep the home powered up, in at least a low power mode. I have a disabled wife, and work from home myself, so it's important I can run in a lower power state. I walked through my initial calculations with ****, and we came up with a system that performs exactly as I want, and with expansion for additional batteries in the future!I couldn't ask for better communication, more prompt service, nor a better experience that what I've had with Coronado. I'll absolutely be ringing them up to add additional batteries when the time comes!Review from Krystina M

I really give 0 stars.. We have been dealing with a roof leak caused by this company for over 3 years. They have came out six times and did the bare minimum to seal the damage. We are still dealing with this. We are trying to sell our house, and we have had our 6th leak (same spot) since February 5th 2023. They don't want to take responsibility, even though it's stated in their warranty that they will cover repairs. We have had 3 roofing companies come out and give the same result. But they continue trying to get a different outcome because they don't want to cover the cost to actually repair the roof, instead they want to continue to seal it. It has now caused more damage to ************ roof and dry wall. We have been in contact with them since February 5th trying to get this situated. We ended up having a 3rd party roofing company come out to find the source of the leak, which has stated it is being caused by the panels. But they want to send ANOTHER roofer affiliated with them out so they can continue pointing fingers else where. We need this fixed NOW!!! We have jobs waiting for us in ************** but we can't sell our house until this leak is fixed. This is absolutely ridiculousCoronado Solar Response

This is still ongoing. We were there 6 times after the first leak presented itself as we continued to reseal and redo our work to fix the issue. After exhausting all avenues it was finally determined from a third party roofer that the leak was caused by a faulty install of a vent pipe from the original construction of the home and had nothing to do with our solar installation.
Now three years later the leak is back. There have been 2 roofing companies that have come out to determine the cause of the leak. The first one has stated that the origins of the leak is undetermined but if the client has solar then the solar must be the cause. The second roofing company has stated that it is caused by the solar simply because the solar is there. After asking the second company for the origins of the leak they decided the best course of action was to hang up on us. Neither one of those companies have determined the actual location or cause of the leak but have simply pointed fingers at the solar company because we installed solar.
We are now sending a third roofing company as well as a solar installer to determine the actual location and cause of the leak. If it proved to be caused by the solar then we will be more then happy to do anything and everything we can to fix the issue once and for all.
3 years ago it was not our leak, clearly it was not fixed completely then. But some how it is our fault. Once again, if the leak is caused by the solar then we are more then happy to fix it. But we need proof first before we simply pay for bad construction of the home.

They are very interested in selling and making money, but they don’t understand that customer service is part of it all. ****** *** NEVER pick up his phone and barely has it on, and so he has his voicemail set up in a way that would send everyone to call ******* ******. ***, has a voicemail apologizing for not picking up the phone but does not returns the calls. Not only we have been through one of the most devastating hurricanes, but now we have to deal with people like these not caring about their customers basic needs. I need to fix my roof and my insurance gave me the green light to do so, but until Coronado come and take the few solar panels left out of my roof, I CAN’T DO ANYTHING. Is incredible, but my insurance was faster than this irresponsible company. ******* said he would include me on a list and someone would call me to arrange a day to take the panels off, but no one has called, and coincidentally, now, he is not picking up the phone either. I am trying to get in contact with someone at the central office and they are not picking up the phon either. Do Not make deals with this company! They do not care.Coronado Solar Response

It is unfortunate that you along with so many others were impacted by a major national disaster. As you can expect many phone calls are coming in on a daily basis and some inevitably go to voicemail. When messages are left return phone calls are made or are re-directed to the mail office for scheduling and coordinating. As we discussed on the phone Friday before this complaint was made. We talked several times on the phone, a damage assessment was sent to your home from the company. He has provided us with his assessment and we have provided you with a quote. We will be happy to do the work once you sign and return the quote to us. It is always our goal to make every customer happy with our services, but sometimes delays happen and we can not work as quickly as everyone expects.Review from Steven R

A few weeks ago, I filed a complaint against Coronado Solar because my solar panels had stopped working properly and my electric bill almost tripled. Since my complain, I was notified by Coronado Solar stating that they were short technicians. They paid for a tech to come up from central Florida to repair my solar panels and reimbursed my electric bill. I was surprised by there actions. My solar panels are working properly once again. I was also informed that the issue that caused my solar panels from properly is a know issue from Generac. So I am more upset with the folks in Generac than the folks in Coronado Solar. They were extremely professional & courteous. Thank you for taking the time to come out and repairing my solar panels. Hoping that Generac can resolve this known issue.
