On 6/27/2022 Tampa Curbing came to apply a second treatment/sealer on our concrete curbing that they installed a few months back. Once they came to the house they sprayed a chemical and did not protect the surrounding grass as they did in their initially work. All of our St. Augustine grass around the areas they sprayed has been destroyed. I have before and after videos and pictures. The owner of the company did this job while he was inebriated. He rang my ring doorbell which recorded our entire conversation and he was wasted, could barely stand straight nor keep his eyes open. I have our entire 5 minute conversation recorded on ring video, as well. On 6/23/22 his wife quoted me $85 for the job. I have the original quote she sent. Her husband the owner then proceeds to tell me during our conversation the cost is now $170, once i tell him no, he says the work was completed already and he can take $150, then he says $120. i was at work during our conversation and could no longer speak to him so i ended the call and he left.

Ryan with Tampa Concrete Curbing and Pavers, LLC came to my home on Oct. 23, 2021 to give me a quote for a curb around the front of our home. He gave me a written quote of $1,815 based on 121 feet of curbing .He came out within a week and installed curb and I paid the agreed upon price. With a day, the concrete was cracking and pieces falling apart. I called and left a msg and was told Ryan would come back out and look. Had not heard by Nov. 11 when Jessica texted and said she would talk to Ryan and see what he could do to fix it. Did not hear again so sent 7 pics of the damage on Nov 17. Jessica replied that she would let him know and see what he says. November 23 still nothing so I texted again. Jessica said she would have him call me the next week about it. On December 3 I received a text from Jessica asking if ryan could come out on December 6 to check it out. Said that was fine. On December 7 I received text that Ryan was on his way to look at curb. Jessica texted and said ryan told her "there were cars parked on it and everything ..it's not made for that so he's going to have to try to figure something out to make it stir eve because the normal curbs we do are not made to be hit or ran over so that's why it's crumbling. I will let you know what he comes up with." There were never any cars parked on it. Ryan came out and saw the curb is next to the street so obviously people might hit it but it should not crumble from that. This was not a decorative curb. There was no rebar in it so it was not reinforced. Jan 7 I texted Jessica to see the status of ryan coming out and sent two more pictures of the problem. She texted back on January 11 and said she would have him call me. Did not hear anything so called on Tuesday January 18 again and explained I had someone else coming to replace the curb and ryan needed to call and refund us the money we paid. Did not hear back. Called Thur. Jan 20 and told her I had no choice but to write BBB and file complaint
