I purchased a car from Ez Choice in *******, **. The next day the check engine light went on, the *** brake light went on, the Red Brake light went on. I paid cash and they refused to help me. I had a maintenance check done and it needs $10000 in repairs. In a *** you can reset all the warnings. Less then 24 hours after I purchased car.When I called them **** and ****** both said it ran great for them. I'm a single white female that was taken advantage of.. is this OK?Business response

Customer was at the dealership and drove the 2014 *** x3 xDrive28i with ****** miles prior to purchase. We do not have a mechanic onsite and do not have any ability to reset any light. Customer signed a Buyer's Guide stating vehicle was purchased as is with no warranty from the dealer. She was offered an extended warranty for purchase but declined it. It is unfortunate that the customer encountered a problem with the vehicle. The vehicle was in good safe running order while we were in possession of it and at the time of the sale. Any forms and documents needed for proof of purchase can be provided. When we spoke with her on the phone, she threatened to file lawsuits so at this time our communication has ceased.Customer response

After further research and based on the response given, they are in violation of the consumer protection act by not inspecting the car before it was sold.Fair Trade Commissions act was also violated by false reviews given to ****** to boost there reviews. I was thinking it would be a great placeI won't let this happen to another single female, I won't stop until they take this car back and give me a full refund.
I work too hard for them to sell me a car for $17500. Book value
And I need another $9000- $10000 to make it say.
I can't do it and won't do it

All vehicles when purchased by us go through an inspection process through Manheim prior to delivery to our dealership which allows us to offer customers an extended service contract through ********************.Customer declined to purchase this service contract. Furthermore, the customer signed an as is buyers guide which states that she has every opportunity to have it inspected before purchasing.Customer response
