************ was contacted for ****************-their prior employee insisted on installing a Reme Halo Ozone elimination device instead. I had a portable unit purchased previously that I was happy with, yet this LED device kept emitting dirty dust out the vents. I was told to wait until it cleared up, yet when it worsened and was intolerable, I had breathing issues and EMS required me to see ER. I'd told Air Mavericks who rushed over saying it must be a defective device and I would be sent an immediate refund. I'd tried to electronically deposit the draft although they put a stop pay on saying they would have to hire an attorney due to ongoing defects. I'd contacted the manufacturer who advised Air Mavericks **** a refund. *** advised these are prohibited to be installed inside any buildings due to dangerous ozone levels. We sincerely appreciate feedback from all our customers and take each concern seriously. In this particular case, we have made every effort over the course of several months to reach a satisfactory resolution. The customer initially raised concerns about a health issue, which they attributed to an air purification system (**** HALO) that we installed. In good faith, and as part of our commitment to customer service, we offered the customer a full refund for the device, despite the lack of any evidence supporting their claim.
Upon receiving the refund check, the customer threatened legal action against both our company and the manufacturer. At this point, we felt it was in the best interest of all parties involved to consult legal counsel. Based on their advice, we canceled the check and ceased further communication.
It is important to note that the customer purchased three services from our company, and their complaint involved only one of those services. Despite this, the customer later demanded a full refund for all three services. Furthermore, after moving out of the property where the device was installed, the customer escalated their complaints directly to the manufacturer, who also reviewed the situation and determined that there was no merit to the claims.
We value all of our customers and strive to provide quality service and products, including the **** HALO system, which is used in hospitals and various other facilities across the country. While we regret that we could not reach a mutually agreeable resolution, we believe we have acted fairly and in good faith throughout this process.

I am rejecting this response because: their excuses are factually inaccurate. I'd received a partial refund check rather than the promised full refund after they'd rushed over to remove the unit from resulting in further health impacts. I included photos of the day prior to reoccurring by *** requiring me to go to Emergency Room. *** advised after their manufacturer told me to deal directly with them and not post negative comments which is why they claimed to put a stop pay on the draft I'd attempted to deposit. They've refused to communicate and claimed it's harassment (I have further emails and texts affirming both, the full refund for a unit they took possession of from my attic) I'd felt it would be a danger to anyone purchasing my prior home and confirmed it with ***'s explanation of Ozone causing adverse health problems and for me to remove it with a licensed ************* The employee who pushed it rather than clean the ducts is no longer with their company. and I'd previously rendered a complimentary comment when they found a part to repair the main air handler, so I didn't seek to grind an Ax as they told RGF. I merely sought a refund on a device that damaged my sinuses requiring 2 Rhino Rockets by an ER doctor, and notify both of these incidents to help protect other consumers. I have no idea why they've continued to refuse refunding me or communicating with texts and emails sent attempting to receive rectification. It's in their hands to proceed as professionally as possible.

Had them come out and do a cleaning and they installed a uc light in the ac unit. The light had gone out already not even a year later, calling them, text and voicemail and no one calls me back to help me with this issue. Im sure its under warranty to be replaced and Ive been calling for weeks with nothing.Business response

I am very sorry to hear this. We have had some phone issues but I will have the office contact you shortly to make sure we take care of you. Yes, your UV light is under warranty and it will be replaced at no cost.

Air maverick. I answered one of their promo ads that if you got your air vents cleaned for ****** which included taxes they would clean your dryer vents for free. I answered their aid and made an appointment. They came to my house mess the my air handler then said they couldnt clean it due to bad bacteria . I chose to have them sanitize it for now and then they asked me for $205. When I asked about the dryer vent cleaning the tech told me that due to insurance reasons they are not allowed to do that and that he didnt have the equipment on him anyways. So I called the main company and ***** said he would call me back. ***** did call me back only to tell me that that the free dryer cleaning in the promotion was only for the Tampa area. I told ***** that I read the fine print in their promotion aid and it was not exclusive to Tampa he said that it did not matter that they were not going to honor the promotion with me. Now Im filing a complaint with BBB. IBusiness response

I am very sorry for the miscommunication. You are correct in the sense that our marketing team made a mistake on the advertisement as far as the territory that we cover but when you first spoke to ***** about it, management approved a $99 credit which it was sent to your home address in the form of a check the same week. If you did not received the $99 refund please let us know so that we can re-send it again or credit your credit card payment. Thank you
