May of 2023 I called Marine Rebuild Specialists Inc. to have my outdrives done. They were professional in the beginning. I sent them my outdrives and told me they can rebuild them and they would be bullet proof. I spared no expense and went with every recommendation they offered. I spent almost $5,000.00 and once I paid there was no more professionalism.There was a total of two outdrives done, one outdrive didn't work right away and I contacted a *********************, he said he and his tech would get back to me the next day, this still has not happened till this day. The other outdrive failed and I called and complained. Less than one hour on the water and I needed a broom to get back to land. This is after they raved about how they stand behind their work and send them back and everything was covered and they would compensate me for the labor I paid and the money I spent in and out of the water. This was by a guy named ***. Then they call and told me they do not know what happened and I should give them an extra $800.00 even though I paid for the entire unit to be rebuilt. I was asked how I filled them with oil. I told them I had a certified mechanic fill them, have it all on video, coordinated with ********************* on exactly what brand and weight he recommended. Again I was told that they had no idea what happened. I was told they did not open the units up yet and they would look more into it. But if it was my fault it would cost $800.00 Get a phone and said good news my drives are done and I owe $`1400.00 I told them I was not paying. I did exactly what I was directed to do and was told I would be compensated for my trouble. *** said fine I will put your F'n (swear word) back to you and your S word drives. I asked for the owners name and number and there was silence, He refused, I looked up the owner's name on here ***************** but his number is listed wrong and no way to get ahold of him. I'm out $5k and two outdrives.
