      We applied for a rental through the company and paid a $120.00 application fee that would be refundable and transferrable. We were denied because our previous landlord in Tennessee was no longer reachable by email nor phone numbers; so our application was based solely on our credit rating. The agent did not attempt to contact us to see if there was another way of contacting him. Nor were we asked to provide other rental history which we could have provided. We were asked if we wanted our application fee back and we said yes. now no answer to phone calls, we have left to messages but the agent wasn't in. we even tried to call the Destin agnecy to ask for advice and their agent said she would reach out. it has been 2 months now and no money.

      After reviewing this with our Property Manager, it is our company and the consumer is correct that he should have received the application fee back. We rectified this on Friday, Feb. 17, 2023. Our sincere apologies.

      Ms. Michelle Whitaker and broker Ms Zee White. License #3011023. (1161 sawgrass drive). The referenced property was advertised as offering a "$10,000 Remodeling Allowance with Full Price offer, but never fulfilled. Most egregiously, at the time of closing, I handling the closing my own as her husband was deployed with the USAF overseas and just lost her mom and is 100 PTSD and went with Michelle due to her own Veteran status, was rushed through a final walkthrough and the signing of papers. I relied on her Agent, as her fiduciary, to guide her in this daunting process. Mrs. Zogal's Agent was to act as her proxy to oversee and report on the condition of the property, and she oversaw repairs and issues. She assured me that all of the repairs were done correctly and that the house was in good condition. As it turns out, the repairs were not performed correctly and properly and are still on going for fixes and many issues to deal with. There was negligence and fraud in the inducement

We are no longer a part of the negotiations for this. My apologies that this is the first response you have received as I worked on this when the complaint came in, but apparently did not submit. We do not agree with Ms. Zogal's assessment of the situation, but we were working on getting her the $10,000 prior to the attorneys stepping in.

      Romona Speer placed the rental property that I co-own with my estranged spouse on the market without my consent. I called her and she proceeded to place the house as pending on the MLS. She convinced me to put the house on the market and that all money would go into my attorney's escrow. She has not responded to me or my attorney and the title company said that they had no idea of the issue when she was made aware of the fact. She should have her license revoked for her illegal dealings.

They did not reach out to me to ask about the case or to clarify any information with me. This case was indeed handled improperly and something must be done to stop her illegal handling of real estate closings. The actions of the business and the President are not ethical and should be handled as such. He response "all I am able to say at this time" is vague and not an answer to the complaint filled. Why cant you say more? What are they trying to hide. I cant even get them to respond to me on the closing and we are only days away. I will take this to the FL board of real estate agents.
