Fidelity Air installed a new AC unit for me about 18 months ago and the unit seems to have had a slight freon leak since day 1. More than 12 service calls and the issue has never been resolved. Now the owner, Ed, came out without Freon, tells me he will get Freon and be back and is a no show on the promised return. I call him and he agrees to an appointment the next day at 10am. I call at 10.15am and am told he could now come out about 1pm. I get a call from another person, Chuck at 10.30 am who tells me they are leaving now and would be out in an hour. I call back at 1pm and am told they would be here in another hour. Consistent no shows and the owner has been yelling at me when I just said 'I wish I could believe him' after repeated no shows and no call to let me know he needs to reschedule again. The AC was not cheap and there was a labor warranty which is ultimately not something the company has delivered on since they have not yet resolved the Freon leak after 12 service calls. I now have to hire another AC company and pay them for the problems Fidelity Air have been unable or unwilling to resolve. I want either a refund of their original install job or reimbursement of the costs I am about to face for getting the problem resolved.Initial Complaint

I had this Company Fidelity Air in Spring Hill FL install a complete A/C system on 9/23/2021 which advertises on Craigs List. The main guy is "JAVY" who gives quotes of $2800 for 2 ton straight cool unit on Craigs list. I wanted a heat pump unit which is $700 more which is $3500. When he came out he could only install the straight cool unit but still charged me $3500 the price of the heat pump. I also had problems after with the inside unit blowing the fuse to the unit. Fidelity Air advertises a 2 year labor but has been GHOSTING me for months. Had to call another A/C Company to fix their bad install. this Company is very "UNTRUSTWORTHY". I`ve done a lot of business on Craigs List for years. This is the 1st time I`ve file a complain with BBB. Next will be in Craigs List.
