Been a customer for 4-5 years with not complaint. Over that period of time we needed to add an A/C unit for an addition and replace a unit that the compressor died. We went to owner for quotes on both units. His price was $1500-$2000 higher than an installer referred to us by a friend who rehabs homes. When we told owner he told us he could not match that price. We asked if he would work on the units when the time came, he said yes but not the first year which would be covered under warranty. Last year he summer serviced our A/C, two rental properties A/C and 1 at our sons home which is on our property...no complaints. Fast forward to this year we need some work on the unit from 5 years ago and owner refused to come out telling woman in office to tell us that he was not working on units that he didn't know where they came from that he questioned the validity of our seller. Now I feel he is questioning our credibility. I explained to woman in office that it was a unit he had done a summer service on last year, that we had received sales receipt when purchased 5 years ago and the seller didn't appear to be a drifter given the connection to our friend. THEY NEVER GAVE US THE COURTSY OF A REPLY. May I also add that the first year using HB Heating & A/C we called to get an invoice that had never been sent....called many times over 12 months to get/pay what we owed. Do we sound like we would use a less than credible seller? I am very disappointed-I felt like we had built a relationship with this company only to find out he was unreliable when we needed him this year.
