On November 24, 2023 while returning home to Ohio from Florida I found this business online and called to see if they could balance my 12.50/35/20 tires due to a small vibration. They said yes, no problem. Took it straight to them. They told me over the phone it would be 19.99 a tire and when I arrived said it would be 29.99/tire. I said go ahead and do it. An hour later he came out and said I need brand new rotors and brakes all the way around. I told him absolutely not, that I checked the brakes the week before when I left ohio to go to Florida. He said ok. Then he told me he had another problem and that his tech ruined 5 of my lug nuts because they were swollen and a 22mm socket wouldn't fit and he had to beat them on. He claimed that unless I wanted to buy all 20 lug nuts that he couldn't do the job. I told him there isn't anything wrong with my lugs. He said that I HAD to buy the 5 they ruined. He called and found 5 and then charged me a total of 75.20, and never balanced any tires. I was there for over 2 hours. I arrived home and showed my lugnuts to my mechanic and he laughed and said they were 7/8 inch lugs and not 22mm. Said he would've ruined them all if he kept using a 22mm. I have aftermarket lugnuts. I made them give me the 5 they supposedly ruined and my mechanic said there isn't anything wrong with any of them and nothing wrong with my brakes or rotors. I want my money back. I'm 50 years old and have never seen this kind of shenanigans anywhere in my life.
