Re:       BBB Complaint Letter - ID#********

      Dear Brea:

Please accept this correspondence as our written response to the above complaint. For the reasons explained below, we strongly deny that our company or staff acted in any way described in this disarrayed complaint and this complaint should have actually been filed against another company.

First, the complainant, *****************************, is an owner in The Little **************** Association (the Association).  ***************** has a documented history of using e-mail excessively to burden and harass our company and staff. Some of Ms. ******** emails have involved her making derogatory comments about the physical appearance of several of our employees who are assigned to work at the Association.

Earlier this year, the Association embarked upon a project to replace all of the roofs on the condominium buildings in the Association. This project was managed by a contracted roofing consultant and the selected roofing contractor.  As part of this project, the rooftop air conditioning condenser units which service each unit had to be disconnected and temporarily removed to facilitate the installation of the new roof.  The temporary removal of the air conditioning condenser units was handled by a licensed air conditioning company, who was subcontracted to handle this work. This company also handled the reinstallation of the air conditioning condenser units after the roof was installed.

After Ms. ******** rooftop air conditioning condenser was reinstalled, she complained to the Association that it was not operating correctly. As part of a normal project closeout, the contracted air conditioning company was scheduled to address any air conditioner issues in the Association. When **************************** went to Ms. ******** unit to address her concerns, they were denied entry to her unit. ****************** opted on her own accord to contract with another air conditioning company to address her air conditioning unit issues.  It is our understanding that ****************** has already been reimbursed by the Associations roofing contractor for the cost of the repairs to her air conditioning unit that she had completed.

Hopefully the above sufficiently addresses the complaint filed by ****************** and should confirm that nothing improper occurred.   Should you need any further explanation or documentation, please do not hesitate to contact us.  We appreciate your time and attention to this matter.

                                          Sincerely,

                                          ****************************, President

Why  isn't coastal property management aplus accredited bbb?

In September 2022 I sent an application for a landscaping project to Coastal Management to be forwarded to my HOA. This application was accompanied by the required $500 security deposit. After months of delay on their part my project was rejected and an appeal requested, culminating in an HOA board meeting in the middle of January 2023 where the appeal was denied. I was told to fill out an application for the return of my deposit, which I promptly did on January 24 and was date-stamped by Coastal Management's office on January 28. I waited several weeks before asking what happened to my money, only to be told that I had to fill out an application. When my wife went to the manager to tell him we already did, and that the application was in fact on their website, he rudely responded that without another application he wasn't going to do anything. So rather than try to prove that this company doesn't have its act together, she filled out the application again. When she returned and told me what had transpired, I wrote an email to the manager requesting that he forward it to the Vice President, which he claimed he would do. In it I mentioned all the above and the fact that my wife had been treated so rudely. I advised them that I thought I waited more than enough time to get a refund and I wanted the refund right away. I got no response from the corporate office nor have I yet received any money.

I am rejecting this response because: I did in fact finally receive the deposit, but it was after the delay I referenced in my original complaint and after the rude service we received causing us to fill out a second request, even though the company had our original request uploaded on their website for weeks. This company in my opinion has very poor customer service and I do not want to go back and forth with them. I consider this matter closed.
      Sincerely,
