            I was directed to the custom auto center by my Toyota dealership to remove a paint protector that had molded and melted into the paint of my **** ****** *******, all over the hood, mirrors, and trunk. After having my car inspected in the month of July 2021, they gave me an estimate of $390 with a 1-2 day wait. I made an appointment to get it removed on March 7th, 2022, and they had called me the next day and said the paint had came off and it will be another week to re-paint it, and my price doubled to $800. On March 14th I was told my Vehicle was ready for pickup, and I went to pick it up the next day. They had only repaired the hood of my car, the moldy adhesive still all over my mirrors and trunk. The mechanic, Roberto, said he was “only told to do the hood” and that he’d get it fixed, but has to speak with the owners regarding the billing. I’ve tried calling about an update, and all they say is that they are “working on it”. It has been almost 2 weeks without a vehicle and I may miss days of work and school, and what I had initially discussed was that the $390 would cover my entire car, and now it is $800 for only half of it.

            If I could give this place negative stars I would. Our story is similar to the review below about the Porsche. We have a 2020 GMC ****** truck and the repairs took a long time but that may have also had something to do with the insurance claim. When we got the call that the truck was ready and went to pick it up there was missing clear coat and a layer of paint on the driver side door just above the door handle. That was not there when the truck was dropped off for repairs to the rear due to tire steel belt splitting. They started lying immediately saying it was that way when the truck was brought in. When we didn't accept that lie more lies were offered up and on and on with the lies. DO NOT USE THIS BODYSHOP. Until that point we had received polite professional treatment from the owner but the day we were called to come pick up the truck he was off and his nephew was dealing with things. The nephew is the one telling lie after lie and taking no responsibility. He also gets more inflammatory every time his lies are not just accepted. He is a dishonest thug. ******.
