      DO NOT CONSIGN WITH THIS BUSINESS. We have a complaint in with the Attorney General of Florida who encouraged us to leave a review on BBB. Dropped off 6 chairs in October 2023. They were sold and we received an email that a check will be sent. It is now September 2024. We have filed a complaint with the ************************ and Florida Department of Agriculture and ***************** as suggested by the ************************* Because they cannot provide legal opinions, please consider contacting The Florida Bar which offers a lawyer referral service.

      We received notification from Consignor that they had not received the $225 check that was previously sent to customer to the address on file.  Check was sent to address on file well within the terms of the signed agreement.  However, the consignor has now provided us the correct address. The check has been reissued and sent to the corrected address.

      We have been having problems with getting payment for our furniture from Choice furniture consignment. store in ******, **. They picked up all of our furniture from our 2 bedroom condo there in ****** on April 1, 2023. I have pictures of all of the items taken the day prior. They were supposed to pay us after any items sold. We have not received any compensation for the sale of our furniture. On Jan 21, 2024 we texted asking if any pieces were sold. We received a text back on Jan 22 stating our first check for $766 would be in the mail within the next couple of weeks. We never received it so we texted them back on March 20, 2024. They texted back March 21, 2024 saying the check for $766 mailed out on Feb 1, 2024 and a 2nd check for $319.60 was scheduled to be mailed out in the next couple of weeks. I responded back the same day stating we still have not received the check mailed out on Feb 1. They said they would research this and mail out another check if it hadn't cleared. On May 14, 2024 I texted them again stating we still had not received either check. They texted back the same day saying they would reach out to bookkeeping which was off-site and ask that our checks be expedited. The also said we had another check #3 in amount for $339.60 that would be mailed to us also. On June 10, 2024, we texted and called (have to leave messae) asking about payments as we have not received any. No response from them. We texted and called again on June 11, 2024. No response from them. We left one last text and called again today asking for someone to respond tomorrow as we are filing a complaint with BBB.

      Choice sold a sofa of mine in November 2023. It is now June 2024 and they refuse to pay. After numerous emails and calls Choice refuses to pay.

      Thank you for your response regarding Choice furniture. I appreciate everything that you did. However, my math says if they Sold my sofa on 11/30/2023 their contract states they pay in 180 days. It is now June 24, 2024, which makes it 208 days since they sold my sofa. Another 20 days or July 20, 2024 would make that 228 days, if their contract says 180 days, how can you give me information that says I need to wait 228 days. Makes no sense but I appreciate you trying, these people are a scam. Good business model take furniture and dont pay for it and sell it at any price; somebody needs to look into them. This is a gigantic scam and Im not the only one that feels that way. 

      any additional help will be appreciated. I can assure you I am not done.

      Their last response to you was that they were going to pay July 22, 2024. They sold the furniture in November 2023.

      This customer has consigned with ********************** three times since 2015.  This consignor has consigned 24 items over the course of time.  They clearly understand the process and the agreement which they signed.

      This customer also gave us a one star "scam alert" review on ******** after their check was replaced.  The original was not delivered by USPS.

      Choice is disappointed by the customer's behavior and is shocked that the BBB would intervene on their behalf.

      Our business with them is concluded.  

      Choice will not respond to any future communication from the BBB regarding this customer.  We have closed this file.

      BBB please note that Choice pays within the terms of our written agreement with every customer. The ******************** has a copy of our agreement on file and is aware of our terms.

      I purchase a couch for $744. they in turn took my ***************** couch and sold it for $800. in early February of 2024 with the understanding that I would receive $399. which represents half of what it sold for in February. I have not received the $399. and it is now the end of May 2024. When checking them on the internet many other customers are in the same situation some waiting for over six months and not receiving their money that was promised.

      ****************** has done an inappropriate right of offset.  He both purchased and consigned furniture with us. He knows this as the credit card processor has so informed him. His credit card purchase was deducted from our account.  He was found at fault and the credit card charge was restored to us.  He knows this. However, the issuing bank has the final say as to whether Choice is allowed to keep the money.  He knows this.  We are waiting on the issuing bank to make their determination.  He knows this.

      Choice will not issue a refund should that be required until the issuing bank makes its determination as to the validity of the inappropriate offset. He knows this.

      ****************** is harassing Choice and it needs to stop, The BBB has no authority to be in the middle of this issue as we are not a member and do not participate or respond to the BBB. ****************** should be advised of this by the BBB.

      Thanks for trying to help they still are refusing to pay me the $399. for the couch I assigned to them in February and that was sold as soon as it went on display. They have done this to other people and seem to have gotten away with it in the past. Being out of state I have can't appear for a small claims appearance or a criminal proceeding.

      I was moving out of state and going through a divorce. I had sold my home and consigned my furniture to this establishment. They picked up my furniture on I believe it was September 19 2023. They informed me in October that they had sold some of my furniture. And that I could expect a check in January of 2024. Then they informed me they sold other pieces of my furniture. And that I could expect a check in February of 2024. The approximate amount they said I would get is around $639.00. As of today March 13th I have not received any payment. I have tried to contact them several times. They dont answer or respond to my text. So I am contacting you to help me get my money. They still have several pieces of my furniture. Please help me recover what is due to me. Thank You *********************

      Rep from Choice Furniture Gallery, Inc. stated that they have had 11 contacts with the consumer. They explained that she's moved and they have her new address. Rep ****** the agreement in the consumer's contract ****** her payment will go out 180 days after a sell. The consumer's first check was sent out on 4/3/24, so she will be recieiving that soon. The consumer had a sell on 2/29/24 so 180 days from that date a check will be mailed, making her next check set to be mailed out on 6/1/24. After this, all payments made to the consumer will be completed.

      On 3/23/2023 I contracted Choice Furniture to sell A sofa on consignment. The sofa was picked up and I awaited the sale/payment.10/3/2023 I contacted Choice Furniture to find the status of the sale. I was told the sofa was sold at the Labor Day sale. (Sep. 2023) and the check for the amount of $239.60 is in progress.11/16/2023 I contact Choice Furniture again. The message said it would be mailed in the next several weeks.12/26/2023 Contacted again and the response was "scheduled to be mailed soon"1/23/2024 Contacted again -- I have nor recieved an answer I think that is long enough to wait!!!!

      I CONSIGNED MY FURNITURE ON MAY 15TH. IN SEPTEMBER I ASKED IF ANY PIECES HAVE BEEN SOLD, THEY SAID YES AND A CHECK FOR ****** WOULD BE PAID IN OCTOBER.IT WAS NOT. MORE PIECES WERE SOLD IN THE AMOUNT OF ****** THEY PROMISED CHECK FOR THIS IN NOVEMBER. I DID NOT RECEIVE ANY CHECKS. NOVEMBER THEY STATED ****** WORTH OF PIEES WERE SOLD. i HAVE NOT RECIEVEED ANY CHECKS, ALTHOUGH THEY HAVE STATED IN WRITING THEY WOULD BE SENT. ON DECEMBER 1ST, OFCOURSE NO CHECKS WERE MAILED AT ALL AND THEY SAY IN THE NEXT FEW WEEKS. ALWAYS!! SO I ASKED WHY THEY COULD NOT MAIL ONE CHECK FOR THE ***** AMOUNT AND THEN I NEVER HEARD BACK FROM THE ACCOUNTING ***** I HAVE ALL THE ****** THEY ARE ESSENTIALLY THEIVES

      On August 22 2021 I consigned furniture to Choice Furniture Gallery at *********************************************** to be sold.On July 7 2022 after not hearing from Choice I contacted them.I was told that the furniture sold and a check for $394.80 was mailed to me but that it was sent to the wrong address.I was told on July 12 that a new check would be sent on the next check run.I have checked back numerous times, I have my text correspondences, but as of today August 18, 2022 I have still not received payment.My concern and reason for contacting BBB is that I see reviews for this business that detail the same experience.
