I brought my boat in for its first engine service. I have twin 300 Suzuki's. They put a gouge in my hull during install that they were supposed to fix during the service which they didn't do. They charged me to install a fuse that should have been done during the install. They said I needed batteries I told them I would do that. I have to trailer my boat there which is a 2 hour drive. When I went to put my boat in the water. I noticed my drain plug was removed. Why did they remove the drain plug to do oil changes. Plus they scratched and put a chip in a engine cover. When I brought the drain plug issue up with the service manager I got no response. Than a Tech told me I had no common sense because I didn't buy batteries from them. When they handed me the bill the service manager walked away and left me to deal with a woman at the front desk. The woman was extremely nice. But the bill was almost 900 dollars. CONSUMER BEWARE

1. The gouge in the customer boat was possibly done when the engines were installed 8 months ago. Palm City agreed to repair the gouge at no cost to the customer except the customer wanted his boat back in a three-day turnaround, we don't employee this person we sublet it out and there were not available to fix it fast enough. Palm City would be more than willing to repair, would need the boat for approximately a week for the repair to be done correctly.

2. The fuse that the customer has stated, is not part of the rigging kit at the time the engine was installed and was only charged .70 cents for the fuse no labor charged to install it.

3. We remove all drain plug on all boat that are left on the property, in the past with the torrential rains that we get boats can be damaged when batteries fail, and bilge pumps stop work and trailers can't handle the extra weight.

4. If the cowling was scratched Palm City would be glad to repair at No charge.

5. It hard to believe a Tech would say that, but if he did, I'm sorry for his or her disrespect, talking about disrespect I don't appreciate or tolerate any customer using profanity to my employees. If the customer had a problem, he should have asked for the General manager or the owner. If that was said by any tech they know that the engine will not perform and we will get a complaint since the correct batteries were not installed. They probably said that its stupid not to install the correct batteries that the engines will need to run properly.

6. Batteries: Customer refused to have dealer replace the week batteries in his boat, Suzuki engine will not run on normal batteries they a minimum of 850 - 1000 cranking amps or the engine will not run properly.

7. 800.00 plus dollar for two engines to be serviced, that is the average price for this service to be performed properly in Palm Beach and Martin County at a Certified Suzuki Dealer. Three hours labor at $ 150.00 per hour plus the part that were installed is at fair price.
