I purchased a refrigerator in January 2022, a couple of months later, it started leaking water onto the floor, had to shut the waterline off. They were called came out and fixed it. 3 months after the frig is not getting cold, I called, and they came around December 1 and ordered some parts today is February 2 and still waiting. Every time I call you can't get anyone, goes to voicemail. Went to the store and they have shut down, out of business. Now I have no refrigerator, someone owes me a frig or I need my money back so we can purchase another one. After 3 months of buying food daily, something needs to get done.Initial Complaint

My mother,***** *** purchased a Kenmore model refrigerator from Sears Hometown in November 2021, It was delivered in December 2021. June/July 2022, we began noticing water in front of refrigerator. We thought ice was falling out and melting into our floor, however we could never catch it happening only saw water. August 2022 a piece on the refrigerator that supports the waterline busted and flooded our kitchen, utility room corner area of our master bedroom. The flooding was so extensive that our laminate flooring has lifted, shifted and broken. We are unable to see but fear mold maybe in the walls that were flooded. It ran completely under our cabinets and into our living space. We called the store where we purchased the refrigerator. Was given a number to insurance company, Traveler's Insurance. They started a claim but we were told by the insurance that it was not their responsibility. Store says not their responsibility. Kenmore says not their responsibility. Our home flooring is destroyed and we can not possibly afford to replace it again as we had just had it all done 2 years ago during the kitchen remodel. Now it is October 2022, and have just had to have repair person out again because the ice maker is leaking down the refrigerator and into our floor and into the bottom freezer and so he has ordered multiple parts to fix this issue. Do we have any recourse or anything else we can do to get help?
